What a great place to go -- Westbury not only has all manner of medical supplies, over the counter meds, tons of pharmacists BUT they also deliver -- they have a sweet little lunch counter just like in the old days, a great gift shop (get something nice for a sick loved one!) and a small grocery store with really good prices.
What more can you ask for in a pharmacy?? I moved farther away from Westbury and still drive past a dozen chain pharmacies to go to the one I know!

Dr. Jennifer Rose took over the practice of my former dentist. She is so gentle. She is great for people scared of pain!!! She gives good advice and does not try to sell you products that you don't need. The practice is very small and personal. She does not dental hygienists. She does everything herself. Also it is easy to get an appointment with her. She is closed on Fridays but other wise she is pretty much available whenever you need.

Dr Perlman has been my doctor for 15 years and also has been my only choice for my family when it comes to any ENT. I've recommended him to all my co-workers and friends. One friend was told by his ENT he could possibly go blind from a procedure he needed to have and was running out of doctors willing to treat him. After Dr Perlman was done my friend was so relieved and pain-free, he said it was like a new life for him.

This large obstetrics and gynecology practice has many doctors to offer. I saw Dr. Tate during my first pregnancy. As for an office, it is very large and the staff is friendly. I did experience a long wait almost every time I went for a visit and it was difficult to get an appointment with the doctor. Often you have to see a Nurse Practitioner and the doctor does not have much time to spend with you. I did really like Dr. Tate, however.

St. Mary's has the best newborn care in the area. When my baby was born with a feeding problem, the lactation consultants and nurses took great care of us, even arranging for us to stay an extra day at minimal cost to use after the insurance wouldn't pay. Other hospitals had baby-unfriendly policies, like restrictions on rooming in and when the baby was "allowed" to be brought from the nursery to mom to nurse (when it was convenient for the nurse shift schedule!). We saw none of this at St. Mary's.

I'm sorry the first reviewer had a bad experience with Dr. Heyman. That has not been our impression at all! He's taken care of both of my children since they were newborns and has always answered all of our questions with a kind, caring attitude. He not only cares for the patients but he also educates and takes care of the parents as well.
