A very unique miniture golf course located inside the West End Market Place. What is best about City Golf is that it will never be rained out! We have our daughters birthday parties here without any worry since it is in April. The course is unique with local landmarks located thru out. It can be rather expensive if you have a large family, but still enjoyable none-the-less. Open 7 days a week too.

Dallas Melody is relatively small compared to the big name music stores but has excellent service. The selection of music there is more than enough and they can order music if needed. They have been in existence for many years, a true testament of who they are. Just a great, local place to go to for your music needs.

I am not a smoker, but my handicapped dad is and I shop fo him. His favorite brand is available here for quite a bit less then what I would pay at the grocery store. I was also surprised to see fine cigars. They even carried bubblegum cigars for when a baby is born! I am glad I found this place because it gets expensive keeping my dad in cigarettes! I wish he would quit, but still!

FunAsia is a popular entertainment venue with three locations in the DFW area. The Richardson location is a combination theatre, eatery, and event-hosting resource. They regularly screen 5 or 6 movies at a time, mostly in Hindi but also some in South Indian languages as well. Increasingly, they also offer one American movie among their selection. Hindi movies regularly feature subtitles, but Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu ones usually don't. Tickets are $5. The screening rooms are clean and the seats are on an incline so you don't have the problem of people in the front obstructing your vision.
As of the beginning of this year, the formal sit-down restaurant (Dawat Restaurant) is available only for reserved meals. The Chat Corner is always open and available for snacks during intermission; besides samosas and a variety of chat, they also sell popcorn, candy, and other mainstream movie theatre snacks.
Rooms are available to rent for weddings, birthdays, and other events. FunAsia Richardson is closed Tuesdays.
Staff are very cordial and it's a pleasant experience. Recommended for movie-goers!

If you like to get wet, this is your place! Lots of different water slides and pools for your wet enjoyment. Eat at the cafe, then lounge in the lazy river. Try your luck on the adventurous half pipe. Let the kids run free in the totally awesome kids playground. Bring your swimsuits and towels, and don't forget the water shoes as the pavement can get real hot. Sunscreen is a must!

This is a bargain hunter's movie theater. They do not have the new movie but even with re-run. The per ticket prices of $1.00 (or maybe $1.50, I forgot) is very cheap. They used to have the half price special on Wed. That mean you paid $.50 per ticket. $2.00 for a family of 4. It is very good. The theater is not new but relatively clean. There are always lots of people there especially in the summer time when family wants to have some cheap entertanment. It is a great place to go.

This place is amazing for kids of all ages. This is a small working farm with everything that goes along with it. There are lots of ponies and a few large horses. Come see the Belgians! There are chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, sheep and even a few rabbits. Be sure to bring a picnic and anjoy lunch under the gazebo or freshly mowed lawn. If you have any extra lunch, I am sure the animals in the free petting zoo would love it. There is a small museum and bathroom facilities available as well. Don't forget a camera!

I was really into golf a few years ago, finding a place that wasn't intimidating was not easy. I just started to learn, my husband used to work in that area so he knew about The Practice Tee. We went there on the weekends to play a 9-hole. They had a lot of novice players there, so if you're not good yet like me, you don't have to worry about a thing, people there won't rush you, take your time. Best of all, if the sun is too hot during the day, go at night, they're open at night too, the only bad thing is that if you lose your ball at night it's hard to find, and you have to deal with the bugs outside at night.
Another good thing about this 9-hole course is that you see bunny rabbits all over, they have a few families there. They also have a miniature course for kids and adults to play in.

My granddaughters love going there each year. It is free and a nice outing for the family during the holidays.
Lots of twinkle light, Santa himself, and lots of activities such as face painting for the kids. Usually rather crowded but puts you in the holiday spirit. A must for the holidays.

I enrolled my two children in the gymnastics class here over the summer. My kids had a blast, but it really wasn't what I expected. They did not do much of the traditional gymnastics stuff like beam, bars, floor exercise, etc. Instead they were harnessed while jumping on a trampoline, rode carts with wheels on them down a ramp, jumped into a foam pit, and played with a parachute. For as much money as I was spending, I expected the real deal. Don't get me wrong, the kids loved it, but it was over-priced for what we got.
