I highly recommend the University of Texas At Dallas; it is a great place to get your education. There are a wide variety of degrees offered here, even though the university is best known for engineering and computers. It is also conveniently located in Richardson which makes it easy to get to from the surrounding cities

I transferred to UTD from a 2 year college and it was a bit hard at first because I wasn't used to the work load, but I got used to it pretty quickly. The campus is pretty big, but not to the point where you would get lost going from one class to the next. The advisors are very helpful in planning out your classes with you. Most of the teachers offer help to anyone who needs it and are usually understanding.

I enrolled my two children in the gymnastics class here over the summer. My kids had a blast, but it really wasn't what I expected. They did not do much of the traditional gymnastics stuff like beam, bars, floor exercise, etc. Instead they were harnessed while jumping on a trampoline, rode carts with wheels on them down a ramp, jumped into a foam pit, and played with a parachute. For as much money as I was spending, I expected the real deal. Don't get me wrong, the kids loved it, but it was over-priced for what we got.

The Richardson schools are really good. Great teachers and the education offered is excellent. We have been a part of this systerm for 30 plus years and part of our family still teaches here. Over the past several years the system has changed somewhat . Lots of ethics groups now enrolled which adds some and takes away some I suppose. Use to be the school district that everyone was seeking but not so much so anymore.

Both of my children went here and I very pleased. The director was top notch and has worked there for over 25 years. The teachers all are wonderful and have a lot of experience and patience. This is Christian-based and the kids all have Chapel once a week. There is also a mothers day out program for younger children. My kids learned a lot and loved their teachers here at Messiah. They are in grade school now and still talk about them. I highly recommend Messiah.
