In reference to "Guest", I felt like I must also post on Dr. Kasbarian's behalf. I was in his office on the day when Guest's mother and mother-in-law came barreling in without an appointment and told the staff that they wanted a tetanus shot for the mother. The receptionist asked what kind of insurance the mother had, and I didn't hear the actual name, but I know it was a Medicare advantage plan. The receptionist explained they didn't take this insurance and about this time, the doctor walked in and suggested she go down the street to Tom Thumb, as they could give it to her alot cheaper than he could. The mother-in-law acted like she owned the place, and just hollered that she would pay for the shot if the insurance didn't. These women were very disruptive and very belligerent to the whole office staff. Someone just has an ax to grind here. Don't pay any attention to this post as Dr. Kasbarian is the best doctor I have ever had - he truly listens to you and digs to get at the bottom of the problem. Yes, sometimes you must wait longer than others, but if I need him to spend a lengthy amount of time with me, I know he will.

If I could give him less than one star, I would. He has been my physician for over 10 years as well. He has reported my mother in law to the police who was his office manager for over five years for trying to get back a check she gave for my mothers account when he stamped his feet and said he wanted his $80 dollars. When my mother of 85 years had to evacuate Galveston last fall for the hurricane, I asked him to have a tetnus shot for her as her provider was not open and she could not return to the area to even see if she had a home to go to. He did not see her but had his MA give her the shot. Since then, he billed her insurance but has not followed up on the refused bill. After which I called and notified them it was a federal disaster zone and that was why she was out of network. He fraudulently billed her for a new patient visit for $145 dollars even though he never saw her. He could not pick her out of a police line up as he never saw her. Stay way clear of this crazy man. He is nuts and I have a new sane doctor now who is not beligerant or sending threatning letters to a little old 85 year old evacutee from a hurricane who he is bound by law to accept her insurance. Her insurance paid and he is still sending her letters that he will call the DA and put her in jail for a criminal act. This was a disputed bill and after I followed up, insurance paid. It is too bad he can not afford the staff to follow up on his own bills. Just stay clear of this man as he is clearly crazy.

Dr. Kasbarian has been the primary care physician for my entire family for more than 10 years now. He and his nursing staff are caring, and he takes the time to really listen to you and your symptoms and if he's not sure what's going on will do research to learn more. He was very patient about helping me to find the right mix of medications. I'd been to many doctors before him, but he was the first one to really take an interest in helping me recover and start living a normal life again.

We have considered him our family Dr. for several years now, and have always found him to be great in diagnosing our problems, along with the fact that while there we don't feel rushed and he makes us very comfortable and confident in his care.
