I transferred to UTD from a 2 year college and it was a bit hard at first because I wasn't used to the work load, but I got used to it pretty quickly. The campus is pretty big, but not to the point where you would get lost going from one class to the next. The advisors are very helpful in planning out your classes with you. Most of the teachers offer help to anyone who needs it and are usually understanding.

This university is very good for those who wish to major in some kind of engineering, namely electrical engineering, or computer science. It's also good for those interested in technology, science and math. The university features lodgings more like apartments than typical dormitories. They are much cleaner and roomies than dorms. The classes are not very far apart, so it's an easy walk between classes.
