This place was owned by a guy named Bob before and it was called "Bob's Autowerks." I was already going to them at that time and found that they did good work with reasonable prices.
Then Ashley (the current owner) bought the shop from Bob and it's now called Absolute Autowerks. Ashley is as knowledgable as Bob and he keeps the same pricing too. I take my car there for every problem I encounter, as well as maintenance service. He can do the same maintenance service as the dealership, but cheaper.
There are places closer to where I live, but I always go back to Absolute Autowerks.

I had my truck in my local Fire..... for service and it wanted to not shift like it did before my tune-up.
they wanted to send me to someone "they knew" that worked on automatic transmissions. My truck is my baby and I just made the last payment on it. I did not want payments for a while. but here we go I was told it would cost about $2795.00,man was I an unhappy camper. my next door neighbor said "take it to Allstate Transmissions 75 at Beltline in Richardson/I went in today and Richard told me " lets not shoot it before we check it . This was a Free Service as I waited.( They have a very clean shop)After he checked it he showed me I only needed to service the transmission Fliud and filter ,replace a sensor and my baby runs like new all for $ 196.00 . Hey guys thanks you have a customer for life here...

I used to like Autozone after they had bought out Chief's Autoparts stores. That was when they had North American made parts, but about 7 years ago that all changed. They have the same prices as anywhere else but their parts quality have signifacantly declined.

I had a problem and took it to Lute Riley Honda and they took a look at it and gave me a genuine sounding explanation and said it was going to cost me arnd 300 - 400 dollars. I went to Bass for a second opinion and BELIEVE IT OR NOT he spotted the problem within a min and charged me ZERO dollars!! He's really found a customer who's going to advertise Bass auto for a long time!!

I had some wheels damaged here. I have been getting the run around for 6 weeks now. I cannot get a manager or owner to call me. I keep calling. They keep telling me they would have someone call back. Never do. They are very bad at customer service. Still nothing done to fix this problem.
Pros: none
Cons: nobody speaks english.

Being a girl, I was a little hesitant of taking my van into the shop for repair. Thru word of mouth I heard that this was a good place to go. I never felt intimidated or anxious, and everything was explained to me in a curteous manner. I let them repair my fuel pump and starter and they were prompt in getting it done. I feel they did a good job and gave me a good deal without taking advantage. I will continue to refer my friends here.

More
We bought our 2003 X5 for repairs from a collision that was nothing more than a front and rear bumper replacement, front headlight, and front right tire and rim. It took them 1 month and 21 days to fix. They explained VERY specifically that the reason for the delay is to be certain that the result of the repair will be the way it was before an accident. Well, we obviously don't expect it to be that way since it's almost impossible depending on the damage. But when we finally got our car back, there were several problems that were not taken care of. First, there was a cigarette burn on the carpet leaving a hole. Second, the rear bumper that was replaced was not even aligned with the trunk lid. And third, the wheel that they replaced had a scratch on it! Did they find the wheel from a junkyard or something? So we had to bring it back in for further repairs. However, they would not fix the carpet burn. They stated that the burn was originally there before we brought the vehicle in. How? No one has ever smoked in the car before and has always been treated like a baby. No one smokes in the family either. I purposely asked the service advisor before letting him know that there was even a burn whether the technicians smoke in the garage and he replied yes, but not in the vehicle. Well...how would any of them even know if their technicians were smoking in the car in the first place? They gave us some BS saying that there was "something" rubbing on the carpet before. What does that mean I asked. He failed to give us a good explanation and obviously was trying to bluff his way through. Therefore, if you want your car repaired and treated how it should be properly, DO NO GO TO CLASSIC BMW in RICHARDSON. There are plenty of other good BMW repair shops like John Roberts. We have NEVER dealt with a worse dealership before.
