Upon a friend's suggestion, I decided to check out Paladino's for one of their weekend shows back in November. The music was too loud, the bands were sub par, certainly not as great as the hype was. The worst part? The lime in my Stoli was MUSHY! Gross! I asked For another lime, and the bartender had to literally look through all of the limes to find one that wasn't disgusting. Ladies and Gentlmen...Avoid the fruit! And god knows what else is spoiled back there.
Pros: easy valley location
Cons: needs a facelift

I recently moved to the Valley from out of state, I knew nobody yet but got the nerve to go out alone about 6 weeks ago. I landed at Paladino's where I was greeted by a big bald security guy asking for ID which was a plus. As soon as I entered a very sweet door girl who collected my cover charge asked me which band I was there to see. I told her I was new to town and didn't know, to my surprise she proceeded to tell me to hang out with her, she introduced me to all the employee's and had the security guys keep an eye on me. I had the greatest night of my life at Paladino's. She even followed me home in her car to make sure I got home safely and went back to the club. So, I brag about what a great place it is, I bring some people I work with last Saturday night and wow! some short jerk is at the door and the girl with the heart tattoo's on her wrists that was so cool the first night I was there is replaced by some drunk on a power trip, the women was so rude we left even knowing Rikki Rocket was going to play. BAD MOVE PALADINOS YOU SUCK!I wish I could remember the tattoo girls name because I loved to hang out with her again.

Friday and Saturday nights ROCK at Paladinos, no need to drive out to Hollywood to hear quality bands because this club has it ALL. Hugh bar with drop dead gorgeous, friendly bartenders, 4 well lit pool tables with enough room to play. Order a pizza, a drink and get comfy cuz when the music starts that cover charge to get in will be well worth it. Not your typical bar bands, the bands that play at Paladinos are all top notch pure entertainment. I swear I had my lighter out waving it back and forth to the Journey tribute band, close your eyes and go back in time. They were so good, I had a flash back to the days rocking at the Forum to the original band in concert.Great parking, friendly staff, smooth drinks, good food, good people and fine tunes!
Badgurlso scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 8 1/2 only because the band was smoking and I wanted them to play all night but they had to go home at 2am...like I'm so sure. double wink for the boys in the band...woohooo!!

I've been there several times to catch mostly tribute bands which were always very good (assuming you like that sort of thing). They are proud of their drinks (based on the price). Good sound system, and only occaisionally a bit too loud. Typically you can arrive around 10 and still have a good spot to see the stage.
I caught wind of the Foo Fighters playing an impromptu show which was a real treat. Dave Grohl mingled with the crowd before they went on; very cool.
Have a drink or two before you go, dress casual, and see some live music.
Pros: Good sound, Laid back crowd, Cute bartenders
Cons: Drink prices

The stage is a nice size, and the room is large enough to not feel cramped. Also, Paladino's has a great range of music, and I just love the blacklights!

I went there a few years back to see Dr. Know and DI; two beloved punk bands that I couldn't believe were playing just blocks from my apartment. Most punk shows are cheap and the drinks affordable, because hey; punk rock isn't about $20 cover charges and $10 beers. This is Reseda, not freaking Hollywood. Unfortunately we were wrong. I ordered a Budweiser and got a small plastic cup full of beer that cost $7. I can buy a whole six pack and drink it in the parking lot for two dollars less! The bartenders were cordial enough but sort of stuck up. There were a group of jerks standing outside who couldn't just let a girl have a smoke without a hassle. No security to help us out ladies, so beware. I love a good dive, but dive bar should not necessarily equal jarhead town.
Pros: fair parking
Cons: same crappy bands, expensive

Went there a few nights ago and saw my friend's band perform. The stage set up & sound system is great. I'd suggest to wait until after 9:00 to go, that's when it seems like everyone shows up. I'd definitely go again if they had a band playing that I wanted to see.
Pros: Comfort, Lots of Cover Bands, See - New talent
Cons: 21 & over "ONLY", Parking-usually full, No pool tables
