I find it to be quite amusing that I was not the only one who was totally taken advantage of and ripped off by the so-called "owner" of this dump. The guy with the accent who is primarily the server here is NOT the owner, though he likes to pretend he is. I ended up spending $300.00 for four people the other night.... We ordered a bottle of wine and he basically told us "no," and brought us his own selection instead; only to find out later is was twice the price. When we ordered an appetizer, he said he would split it--- No he brought each and every one of us our own and proceeded to charge us for each one. When we asked the soup of the day he said it was a seafood stew. I ordered a bowl of is as my meal- He ended us charging me for the Cioppino (three times the cost) at the end of the night. When he was confronted about his scam artist ways, his accent became deeper and he started yelling and acting confused (mind you, it was all an act, duh). Anyways, DO NOT dine here. I want to report this place to a news station so they can do an undercover investigation--- it should be illegal the way they rip you off. Besides, the food is crappy. The Caesar salad had no croutons (they were out of them), no parmesan (they were out of it--I know, crazy).... it was literally a pile of lettuce with dressing that tasted like plain mayonnaise on it. DONT LET THE CRAZY MAN SCAM YOU. IF YOU WANT TO TRY THIS PLACE OUT, BE READY TO BE STERN AND NOT EASILY SWAYED. CHECK YOUR BILL- ASK PRICES OF EVERYTHING.
Pros: NADA
Cons: THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS

I've been to Vino recently and I had a great experience. Owner welcomed us with open arms and smile on his face. We requested a nice table by the window and we were promptly sited on Saturday night, Usually busy time for restaurants. We requested some tasty appetizer to start with and Amy(our server)suggested some platter with prosciutto, salame and some great vegetable mix of eggplant, capia and olives. It was wonderful. We order Luce wine, it complimented appetizer wonderfully. We took our time, and Amy came back many times to check if we are doing ok or need anything. For dinner we order Veal Piccata and my husband ordered Grilled sausage, quail and steak, served with vegetables. Nettles to say, we were happy with our choices. Zabaglione was a great suggestion from Amy as a desert and my husband had their new pumpkin gelato. Owner as a token of a appreciation, gave us a great port wine on the house. That was a great experience for us. We are from Europe and Vino remind us a little bit of our home, and that made us impressed and certainly welcome back anytime. I would recommend Vino to anyone who like to experience some great taste of Italy.

I have eaten at Vino's many times over the past few years. I had my husbands 30th birthday and the manager Keith treated us GREAT. However the other waiter (NOT Owner) Joel was quite annoying and acted rather inappropriate. He sang songs all night over and over as though he was drunk. Each time we go in to dine at Vino's he is always asking us to hook him up with pretty ladies and never really leaves you alone to enjoy your meal. I made the same mistake when I first ate at Vino's and thought Joel was the owner but come to find out he's not, he's just a waiter. He appears rude but I believe it is just his personality. He can be entertaining but mostly rather annoying. There are certain things that are very good but you cannot seem to stray away from those because that's when the quality gets dicey. If you can get passed the annoying waiter you might have a good experience.
Cons: Not kid friendly

They charged us for a $45 bottle of wine we did not drink. They told us to order "family style" because it would be "cheaper." It cost us the price of their THREE specials each to order a "family style dinner." That is not how my family eats!! We had small portions of their specials, but basically paid full price for them. We talked to the owner, who was the one who ripped us off. He knew we were right, but just told us to go away and was very rude to us when we tried to talk about the bill. I will never go here again and would never recommend it to anyone! If you do decide to go here, just order strictly off the menu and don't be fooled into ordering "family style". Of course they also thought they deserved a 20% tip as well. What selfish people! Resturant service should be about the customer, not the resturant owner's pocketbook. This is a horrible way to represent Italians. I have been to Italy and would never have been treated this way. I would not recommend going to eat here!
Pros: food was decent
Cons: They rip you off and don't even care!

After reading the reviews, I was afraid to go to try this place but I'm glad I did. We were expecting some
"soup-nazi" type situation a la Seinfeld, so we stepped through the front door with a fair amount of trepidation. I don't know, maybe that was a good thing.
All in all, we found the owner to be rather charming and the food was delicious. Now don't get me wrong, this is not a place to go if you're trying to eat for 20/bucks a head (that's why some genius invented the olive garden). This is a place to go if you want to experience a true italian meal. And trust me, italian servers do not bend over backwards to cater to their customers. And italian diners more than likely enter a person's restaurant with the same respect and deference with which they would enter a person's home.
I can't believe people are complaining because the owner makes a food recommendation and then they are surprised when they get the bill. One should never expect that another person knows how much money you intend to spend. If you are a cost-conscious diner, you might want to ask the server how much the item they recommended costs. Sure, it would be nice if they told you the price without you having to ask, but if they don't, big deal- just ask! As for the folks whining about not getting oil and herbs, they are available for the asking but just realize that you will be charged for them, which seems reasonable to me, given the quality and freshness of the preparation. I think it cost like 2.50 and was worth every penny.
I could go on and on, but don't be afraid to judge for yourself.

Yes, as the website states, your dining experience at Vino's will definitely be "unforgettable". Unforgettable in that you'll ask yourself why you chose to spend your money at this restaurant. What is touted to be a "cozy and romantic dining experience" was hardly that. The "part-owner" who took our order was impatient and brusque. The first clue of his demanding demeanor came through when one hesitated to ponder the entree selections. You were made to feel uncomfortable as he shifted his feet and furrowed his eyebrows waiting for your decision. He purposely dismissed asking if others at our table wanted wine; perhaps because someone dared to chose to drink by the glass rather than get suckered into ordering a bottle of their "high quality or more expensive rarity" wine. Upon completion of the meal, you were expected to pay the bill and get out. There was no offer to box your leftovers (you had to ask) nor did you dare to ask for coffee or an after dinner drink. The gruff old "part-owner" made sure that his wait staff were lurking right next to our table while barking orders for the table to be re-set as soon as we stood up. Yes, a Vino's dining experience will be unforgettable. It's guaranteed that you won't soon forget spending so much money on such an unpleasurable fine dining experience. If you've read the most recent reviews, you'll definitely recognize a pattern of first-time customer's being treated like dirt. Perhaps Vino's "regulars" can keep the restaurant in business as surely new customers won't. I join the other recent reviewers in saying ARRIVERDERCI Vino's, we won't be back. If I could rate your restaurant less than one star, I would, and even that would be a stretch from what you really deserve.
Pros: None that I could recognize
Cons: Horrible customer service

I'm with mikenikki on this one. My husband and I were vacationing in Seattle for our anniversary. One night we didn't know where to eat and saw the great reviews for Vinos and decided to try. Like mikenikki, the owner was very nice until it came to the drinks. We don't drink wine so we opted for water, after that things went down hill. There were only 2 other people there but our server needed help from 2 other people and we got ignored often. If the manager ever came by he would never look at us but look up and else where while filling our water or anything like that. To the others that came in, they must have been regulars because he was ordering for them, laughing, talking, singing, but when it came to us when we'd smile at him he'd give us the evil eye like he wanted us to leave. The only normal and helpful person there was a gal in her pajamas that was so nice she was obviously trying to cover for the manager. The food was good, my husband and I talked about what our review would say but it wasn't good enough to outweigh the way they made us feel. Unwelcome and uncomfortable. I thought it was in my head so on our way out I tried to shake the managers hand and let him know how good the meal was but he would have none of it and the waitress in her pjs stepped in front of him and thanked us loudly for coming. It was a shame to have such a bad experience just because the owner disliked you for no reason. Bad move Vino, I'll never be back or recommend it.
Cons: Slow service, very rude and unwelcoming manager

First off...if you notice the dates of the reviews it seems like Vino's has gone way down hill since last year!!! They don't lie!! My fiance & I were new to the area & had driven by this small place that had a wonderful smell on more than one occasion. So..we decided to go & check it out. We were seated immidiately and asked for our drink order right then. Expressing to our seater, who also turned out to be our server and the owner, that we needed a minute to look over the wine list. Within a moment another party was seated at the table next to us. He then again asked for our drinks. After reviewing the bill I realized that instead of receiving the $6.50 glasses of wine, we were given $9 glasses instead.....WITHOUT BEING NOTIFIED!!! HOW SHADY!! He then almost instantly became frusterated with us that we did not know exactly what we wanted. He then proceeded to ignore us & tell the table next to us what they were going to have for dinner. They were also conveniently "out" of quite a few things. We were given bread & grated parmesan but none of the great looking 'oil n herbs' that everyone else had! we eventually asked for it. so... the food came promptly... I will say that we both enjoyed it. After that, the rudeness of the owner proceeded. We were offered dessert by the busser (who was the only pleasant person there) We ordered their 'feature'. I would have preffered something from an 'easy-bake-oven'!!! The bill was ridiculous, especially for the experience. I felt very uncomfortable & unwelcomed!!! We will NOT return or reccomend this to anyone!!!
Pros: good food
Cons: HORRIBLE ATTITUDE & SERVICE!! NOT WORTH $$
