But, the owner has no clue on what customer service means and is rude when you point out faults like the plate not being washed properly or asking for another set of cutlery on every serving. He also discriminates on "color". My friends & I have stopped going to this place now for this very reason.

I used to frequent this restaurant a lot but lately have been let down, in particular by the attitude of the owner. The website claims 2 people can eat under $20, that is so not true. The worst thing is the owner tries to smooth talk and sell you unlisted items (so called specials) that are priced above the menu items. Besides that he tries to be funny and unnecessarily friendly. On a recent visit a coworker complained that the veggie dish was stale and the restaurant staff acknowledged it. The owner's son came back with a fresh dish and apologized. However the (elderly) owner after a while showed up and tried to engage in a coverup. He blamed overripe tomatoes and claimed that everyone else in the restaurant was having the same dish and no one else complained. Seriously, how many people eat vegetarian at Naan-nCurry. So it was basically just my coworker that had a problem is what he was saying. All this after his staff had acknowledged that the vegetables were stale. In any other restaurant I would expect them to compensate by offering a sweet dish or apology at a minimum. Won't be returning to this place anytime soon. Pros: good food Cons: pricey, owner's attitude

He discriminates ON COLOR!! He totally ignored us and gave the table to an Indian couple.. although we came first. Thank god my friend who was with us knows Hindi.. she heard the owner refer to us as "those white people.. i will give them a table later, you go in first" Is there anything more to say? Please spend your money at a place where you will get respect. Go to Cedars or Preets. This owner talks too much, oversells , keeps disturbing you and i have never met a worst mannered human being in my life;. He was getting irritated when we were asking for things and kept coming to the table again and again, talking loudly, telling us to order lamb. I am SO disappointed. Please dont encourage SUCH DISCRIMINATION. Pros: ok food Cons: the owner is the worst person EVER

Food is ok. But DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. The owner has very little tolerance for kids, and repeatedly lies about "customers complaining about the noise". This is by no means a family friendly establishment. Even if very well-behaved kids make any noise (as kids do), they will be quickly lied to by the owner and asked to keep their kids in line. UNREAL! Funny thing is, it is not even that nice of a restaurant - meaning, it is not considered fine dining - yet the old man that owns the place cannot stand it if a child makes any noise at all. I do not recommend this place. Pros: Not Much - Food is average, at best Cons: Owner has no tolerance for children

Friday night walked in a packed Naan N Curry for the first time. Almost left due to long wait. The owner's continuous update on the tables and taking our order before the table ready convinced us to stay. To our amaze within 15 seconds of our seating our appetizer (Fish Tandoori) was on our table. The best fish I ever had in my life. Mughlai chicken and Achar gosht were among the best we had. Worth a wait. Pros: Most Authentic Food Cons: Place packed 45 minutes for table

I went to Naan and Curry with my husband and sister a few months ago for the first time. The place has an OK ambience, nothing great but the food is good. Better than any restaurant on the eastside for sure. We ordered korma, briyani and daal. However, the owner is too annoying and makes the eating experience very uncomfortable. He comes to take the order, talks too much, tries to be over friendly and is almost ill mannered. He always tries to up sell , suggesting the most expensive items on his menu ( i have been there several times after that) and really, the owner is too irritating. He comes back to ask about the food too many times, and refuses to leave. He does not know where to stop being hospitable and tries to sell all the time. It is better to take out rather than sit and listen to his non stop nonsense.

This place has never let me down, and the owners are there to make sure that you are enjoying your food. Kinda pricy, but well worth it. I always end up having a table full of dishes; fresh rice, naan is soft, and everything tastes like it is made to order. Tandoori is superb, not overcooked. And if I go alone, they seat me facing the tv that they show Bollywood movies on. Go there! Pros: fresh, tasty, authentic indian Cons: a little pricy, decor could use some updating

This is the MOST PATHETIC restaurant in Seattle area. I am telling this based on my personal experience. In the last 2 visits of mine in last one month, I had 2 real bad experiences. Today, I found an IRON PIECE in the "dal special" I ordered. I couldn't show it to the owner as I ordered a "To Go" today. A few days back, I visited the restaurant with my friends and one of my friends found a 'B*G' in his order. We showed it to the owner and first he said its not a B*G. Its just some 'masala'. But then he agreed and replaced the ordered food. The staff there is also NOT cool. They (including the owner) try to be too friendly with the customers and in doing so, too often cross the line. Once I was there with my friends and one of us didn't received the food on time. When he asked the waiter twice about what is the delay, the waiter brought the food but just kept on roaming around the restaurant shouting for my friends name. The waiter was pretending as if he didn't know where my friend is sitting. It was really irritating. I sincerely hope after reading this, you guys never pick this place for food. Pros: None Cons: Not clean, people who work there including owner
