We have had both good and bad experiences. At Plum Delicious the experience is always based on the attitude of the staff. Sometimes we are treated like guests, sometimes like unwanted bums. What is funny is the times we were dressed the best and spent the most we got the worst service.
The food is good wholesome all american cuisine.

In Renton for a weekend and was looking for "family style" restaurant. While Plum's fits this category, I was disappointed in the low grade of food served. My dinner came with a salad that I never received, the nachos were drenched in liquid cheese and only a sprinkle of meat, salsa or sour cream. Fish and chips, and 2 kids meals should not cost 42.00. Its "Shari's" only a different name.

Great local Renton Highlands family restaurant. Lots of warm comfort foods. Large portion sizes, sometimes too large. Might be best to split in two with a partner. Great brown gravies. Good service, nice decor on the inside, has outdoor picnic tables for sunny July and August. Freshly made desserts, ie. cakes and pies. Great option for old "Jack's" restaurant fans. Upgraded interiors since it left "Colliery" in the past. Better foods, better chef, better decor than "Colliery". We eat there 1-2X per month. American cuisines.

This place is kind of like a nicer version of a Denny's or Shari's. The food is similar (not amazing, but not bad) and the atmosphere is homier (lace and floral curtains, lace covers on the hanging light fixtures, and an assortment of antiques or handmade crafts- many of which are for sale- as the decor). I don't know how long it lasts but at least currently I know they have free kids' meals with a paying adult on Mondays!

Plum Delicious is one of those small restraunts in an out of the way location that you can easily miss. Don't!
It's has a very comfortable, non-smoking atmosphere, full of arts and antiques inside. The food selection is classic American, with burgers, salads, steak, seafood, etc. Burgers run at $8-ish, with full dinner fare averaging $12-$18. The service is wonderful, as is the food.
