It is right near a park and built over the river. You can definitely make an afternoon of this. Pack a lunch and eat at the picnic tables. The library itself is very well stocked and the staff are all polite and helpful. Plenty of parking. They have story time and special events you should also look into. The train goes right past and my son always gets a kick out of that.
