I have always received great service and proffesional care from this clinic. Yes the glasses may be on the expensive side but I do know from experience that you get what you pay for. The glasses I received from Fairwood Vision Clinic are of the highest quality and when ever I need additional adjustments or anything else -the staff is always very helpfull.
I highly reccommend them!

We were so glad to finally find a vet that is down to earth with prices as well as practices! After only one visit, they new me by name when I called back again several months later and asked by name how my dog is doing! Now that is something when this day in age were lacking so much with customer service standards! With their no nonsence approach to the care of our dogs and the focused attention they give us when we bring them in for visits... well, it's compelling enough for me to take the time to go online and write a review... now thats something! - written on behalf of Toby and Princess!
Pros: Personalized service with no ""upsells""
Cons: Could be an out of the way location for those outside of Fairwood

This was the first time I was able to really enjoy a new pair of glasses from the start. Dr. Chin was very thorough with the exam.
The front office staff was also very helpful.
Thanks, Dana

I have been going to this clinic four about 3 yrs now. Dr. Wong is okay & answers my questions to the best of her ability. However, the customer desk by the front desk people are horrible. I usually order my contacts from 800contacts online, & they have denied my order numerous times since they wanted me to order it through their office which is way TOO EXPENSIVE. When you try to talk to them about about their high rates, the front desk people will be rude to you. I rather take my business elsewhere.

I've been a patient at Fairwood Vision Clinic for 4 years and though the Doctors there seem ok, my experience with the office in general has been horrible. Several times when I've made an appointment and arrived on time as I always do, I've been told they don't have me on their books and had to wait over an hour. One time I was left in the room for about 45 minutes before the doctor came in...and that was after I walked out irritated that no one had come back yet. Supposedly, the doctor didn't even know I was in there waiting! When you call them, you have to call back several times because no one calls you back. The only reason I went there is because I liked the doctor, but that's not enough anymore!
I've been wearing my current contact lenses for approx. 4 years, based on the recommendation from the doctors there. Everything was great-once I actually got them....I had been told I would receive a call when they come in but twice did not and had to call them myself and was told, oh ya they came in last week. The last couple of boxes I've ordered I've had problems with. The lenses keep tearing and though this is not their fault, it isn't mine either. Once they reluctantly replaced the pair that literally ripped in my eye while I was wearing them. And, this week again...actually the second time with this particular box...they ripped again. I called the so-called 'Contact Lense Expert' Julie and was told basically that we've gone over this before and that I've had my box for 8 months and that the last time this happened I had my box for 8 months. I felt she was implying that I was trying to get something for free or being dishonest. She said I'm wearing them too long and don't I know they are only a 1 month wear? She completely disregarded the fact that I wear glasses as well and that the pair that just disintegrated in both my eyes, were only 2 weeks old, and told me that next time I should get a different kind. Lenses will last longer than the 6 month wear if you are not wearing them everyday, Julie....you should know this if you are in charge of the lenses. First of all, when I first started wearing lenses to begin with the doctor told me that if ever one rips they would replace it for me and second, if these are the wrong lenses for me the so called 'Contact Lense Expert' should have recommended something else last year when the problem first arose. Meanwhile, I've already paid a good amount of money for the ones I have now and haven't gotten complete use out of them. I hung up the phone frustrated that she put this back on me and wouldn't do anything about it. So I called back for the manager.........that was 2 days ago, and I have not received a call back. My eyes still hurt from having both my lenses tear in my eye the same day!
I suggest if you want to feel like someone cares for your well-being, that you go somewhere else that is more professional and they actually no what they are doing! I know I will!

I had a visit with Dr Kosnoski on Dec 4th 2007 with the trauma of a
contact lense breaking in my eye that morning. I was hesitant to use
Fairwood Vision Clinic again due to costly exams and delays in orders
previously. Dr Kosnoki, after an extensive exam Dr Kosnoski assured
me that my eye was clear and my eye was just irritated from the
breakage. After 3 days of discomfort and pain, I was examining my
eye while at work and with several coworkers around they witnessed a
large piece of contact extract from my eye.
When I called the clinic to voice my concern they assured my the doctor
would call me right away. Dr kosnoski did not and the office called with
his response to my situation as, "sometimes that happens" . This is
unexceptable, when health care is so expensive that patients can not
even rely on the physicians holding themselves accountable to mis-
diagnosis. I now have to have additional exams to ensure further
trauma or damage did not take place during the 3 days that the broken
piece of contact was lodged in my eye. This office was very
apologetic although the doctor was not and clearly had no concern
for what he put me through.

My son and I visit Dr. Kosnoski at Fairwood Vision on a yearly basis. The service is great, but I find the frames to be high priced. I've also had to wait long periods of times to be seen. They are good about figuring out how much out of pocket expense you will have after your insurance covers what they will.
