Even though I live out in Redmond, I will make the drive out to Yea's Wok if i'm craving good wholesome chinese food. I usually make sea bass myself but I love the way they make it here. The price is comparable to what i pay at the supermarket so I'd rather eat it here than make it myself at home! I really enjoy their seafood tofu hot pot dish. It reminds me of my days back in Toronto where I used to live. My dad used to order it whenever we ate out at a chinese restaurant. i have not found this anywhere else in Seattle. LOVE IT!

Armondo's uses only the freshest and best ingredients, and the quality of their food shows it. This is local family run restaurant with great food and great service. The bar has an awesome happy hour, make sure to ask for the menu! And the best part for Sounders fans is flat screen TV's showing the games!
Pros: Great Happy Hour, Great Food, Great Service

We have been to this restaurant over 40 times and have had excellent food and service on each occassion. I would postion it well above the Keg and below Canlis in food quality and dining experience. Tasteful decor. I bring business associates and friends / family here frequently to rave reviews. It is moderately expensive for the Seattle area but definitely expensive for Renton. In short, Renton is not quite ready for this Bellevue / Downtown Seattle quality of dining (and related pricing) so there is never a wait. The owners are lovely people and have really moved the level of Renton dining beyond Armondos and puts the more popular Melrose Grill to shame. If you like a restaurant that knows how to prepare seafood (i.e. not overcook it) - this is a wise choice for you.

Vino's has great, great service. The staff there, say hello to John, treat you like family. Great pasta, try the specials. We had a fantastic seafood pasta, topped off with a traditional Italian blackberry desert with limoncello.

My wife is crazy for seafood. My wife is crazy for Chinese food. We live nearby and when KC's opened around the corner from our house she said "Honey we got to go!" Little things like this make her happy so I usually go along. I was really glad that I did. The owner is a soft spoken gentleman. He and his staff seem genuinely concerned that everything is just right for the patrons. It felt as though we were guests in his home.
The food is fresh tasting, and very flavorful Cantonese style. She ordered scallops. They arrived hot but not overcooked so that they were still tender. They were in an aromatic ginger basil sauce with baby mushrooms. We have returned many times for both lunch and dinner. Great food is where you find it, and we certainly found it at KC's
Pros: great food, great service, free parking
Cons: off the beaten path unless you live in the highlands.

The pizza here is outstanding and the staff always cheerful. No matter which pizza you choose, it will be abundantly topped with fresh ingredients. Our favorite is the Pesto Primo, with artichokes, feta cheese, roasted red peppers and a wonderful pesto sauce on NY style thin crust. Highly recommended!!!

What do I love most about The Keg? Probably the fact that a person can get a great steak with a potato & veggie sides as well as a salad and bread for around $20. Sure throw in a drink and the price goes up, but it's like that pretty much everywhere else. My boyfriend and I visit The Keg about once per month when we get a hankering for steak. We typically don't dine in the main dining area (long waits, especially on the weekends) and instead head to the bar where we can still have our full dinner menu (only downside is sometimes the music is a touch loud). The food has always been great, service has always been very good, and the prices are the best part. Oh, and for anyone who loves crab like me - I highly recommend trying their crab legs special when it shows up on the menu come springtime! I can never finish the crab. Sure, I will admit the steak is not like what one will find at El Gaucho, however it is better than the two experiences I've had with steak from Ruth's Chris, and definitely worth the price. If you haven't discovered The Keg yet, then you are missing out.

Wok flashed salmon and scallops are top notch, as are the veggie dishes. They have an extensive wine list .
