I have found memories of the old Shakey's, and the bucking horse that you can ride for a quarter. Do they all have these? It's not quite as wild of a bucking horse as I remember from my childhood, but the pizza is still great.
Now that I am a boring grown up, I have checked out the salad bar, and it is rather poor at this location. But if you still enjoy having pizza while your kids play some old arcade games and ride that horse, this is just like you remember.

Shakey's is one of those old pizza establishments that make you feel good when you are having a bad day. The wonderful collection of video games in the back coupled with the general atmosphere straight out of the eighties can be a comfort to those of us who grew up in that era. Pizza at Shakey's is not the best but is decent. The real standout here are the MOJO potatoes that come in a big box dripping with grease and ketchup. Shakey's also has a very eighties looking salad bar. Prices are around ten to fifteen dollars for a pizza and MOJO's.
