I have seen so many doctors in my life, too many to list. Dr. Berger is my second Dermatologist. She saved my life! Several years ago during my annual exam, Dr. Berger decided to do a biopsy on a mole located on my upper right chest.
The mole did not look anything like the "text book, it might be skin cancer mole". She did a biopsy of three moles. One was melanoma. She saw me in the next two days to take a wide margin. It came back clear.
She is the most compassionate, understanding, and intelligent doctor I have ever met. She listens, talks, and works with you to take care of your health. Taking care of your skin has to be a team effort, she can't do everything. But in my opinion...she saved my life.
I am going back for the third time to remove a pre-cancerous area, thanks to her biopsy. I feel safe and relaxed in her care. Oh, and she has a sense of humor! ALso her assistants and front desk people are just as wonderful.

This is a great doctor’s office—Dr. Berger and her staff actually treat you as a patient, not as a number (which I have had experience with, with many other doctors, as I’m sure most people have). She actually cared about my own problems, and how they were exclusive to me. She and her staff are very caring—they really go out of their way to make your experience a good one.

Valley Medical Center is one of the smaller ones in the Seattle area but still is a great one. Both my wife and I have been in for outpatient surgeries and I found the staff to be wonderful and helpful. My kids have also been in the emergency here and though the care is great, the wait is horribly long. The most recent time we had to wait for about an hour just to be re-directed to a place next door. It's also a good place to deliver a baby and since we had our last baby there, they have updated some of the birthing rooms.

People always slam Valley but I have had good experiences with the care I have received here. I had both my babies here and the labor and delivery were great. The aftercare leaves a bit to be desired. The nurses are overworked in that area. The rooms are very small. The ER is usually not all that busy if you compare it to Children's and big hospitals. Sometimes getting in quickly is most important. It is a good local hospital and I think it is still improving.

I am very impressed with the service we get at Valley. The Emergency Room can take awhile to be seen but they always have taken great care of my kids bumps and bruises. I've delivered one baby there and they staff was always friendly. I didn't like how I had to change rooms though. I started in a standard labor room and once our new baby was born, they moved us into a very small room upstairs. It was a little too small for my taste but I hear they are updating the maternity ward. They have a Level 3 NICU now. The Outpatient area has treated both my husband and I well when we needed minor operations done. I couldn't be happier with the service there.
