I'm sorry, but I think that it is awful to sell dogs! With all of the puppy mills that have been busted lately, I feel like stores that sell dogs are a contributing to the puppy mills. There are so many dogs that deserve a good home. Go to Petfinder. That is where we got our dog and she is fantastic!

I shop at Fairwood pet center on a regular basis. I have always been treated with kindness and respect. The employees have always been helpful, friendly and very supportive. They carry some of the cutest and unique items. If there is something I need and they don't have, they are more than happy to order it for me. The puppies and the kitties are adorable. They clearly take excellent care of their animals. I've taken my cats and dog to the groomers there as well and have been very pleased with how well they are taken care of. I am very impressed with the store as well as the employees and will not only shop there in the future, but will tell all my animal friends about it to.

This store and the staff was very helpful when I was trying to determine the type of dog I wanted. I visited several times, asked lots of questions and held lots of puppies. The staff was very helpful. And gave me as much time as needed. I never saw any sick animals. In fact the puppies were very healthy. Compared to other pet stores I thought their selection was the best. I brought my puppy from them and she is perfect. It was the older lady there that helped me and she gave me as much information and help as I needed. I would buy from them again. I rated them very good because I would say thier prices are $200 to $300 over what it would cost to get the puppy somewhere else.

The older employees that works there is very pushy and too much in your face. The two younger girls in the mornings are nice and knowledgeable but it seems the older women in the store need to read their own product before knowing what it does! I have been in this store a total of three times and never coming back. The last time I came in they had two dogs that were vomiting then still getting taken out! Do not buy puppies from a pet store! Look for a breeder with recommendations instead for your puppy needs. They will be a lot cheaper than these Designer mutt dogs.

This weekend I went to Fairwood Pet Center and had the best time at a Pet Parade they put together. There were a lot of dogs there all dressed up for Halloween. They had food, took pictures and marched around the shopping center for everyone to enjoy. In the midst of all this, the friendly staff answered my questions and helped me with my purchases. I've only been in the store a handful of times but each time has been great. I look forward to a great relationship in the care of my pets.

I have lived here in fairwood for 14 years, and this pet store never seems to change in the costumer service they offer. I have been treated rudely by the staff. Older staff here do not take me seriously. I one time stood at the cash register for 15 minutes, while all the employees stood in the back corner, just gabbing away, until they finally made their way over. I only go to this pet store if its an emergency (ie my frog is need of crickets pronto). I am hardly acknowledged when I enter. Their knowledgeable staff also have repeatedly mistakes my dog as another breed, when anyone who knows dogs can easily identify him. And their puppies do NOT come from reputable breeders. These puppies may be cute, but they come from people who decide to breed for two reasons: 1) they have a male dog and a female and they think it would be cute to have puppies from them and 2) they want to make money Reputable breeders do NOT make any profit from puppies. About every cent goes to vet checks, shots, and screenings of the puppies starting at a young age. They also make a knowledgeable choice of the breeding pair. They look at not only pedigrees, but health and temperment. I got my puppy from a highly knowledgeable person who did many hours of research of the sire and dam. He is top quality and an incredible dog. He also came to me at a reasonable price for a high quality dog (I also show him in AKC conformation shows). Theses dogs at the pet store go for over a thousand dollars and even mix-breed puppies are priced at an insane price. These puppies are also come sick. Their temperments often come out poorly because of poor breeding. We cannot support this by the continuation of purchasing pet store puppies. If you are looking for a puppy, do a lot of research and try going to a local dog show and talking to some people. People there are extremely happy to talk about the breed they

Recently, my room mate and I have been thinking of getting a puppy to join our home. I love the idea of getting to see the puppies and interacting with her/him before purchase. We moved to Fairwood and I stopped here during a grocery errand, to find such cute puppies! -- But, once I walked in, I was not acknowledged and when I asked to see a puppy, the employee didn't seem too helpful. I wanted to be able to hold the puppy but due to the puppy having upset stomach, it was understandable. After that, I realized that most of the puppies looked lethargic. From having experience of having animals since childhood, these puppies looked seriously ill. I'll be checking back to the store soon, but hopefully, this will prove me wrong.

We have been customers of Fairwood Pets for several years now. We have purchased our pets from them. We have always been very happy with the service and customer support we have received from them. The staff welcomes us as we visit often to see all the new little faces. Several times we have brought the poochies with us to say hi to the staff which are like extended family to us. We have had wonderful advice from the knowledgeble staff that work there on how to best care for our pooches. One of our dogs was in a fashion show held by the store. She was able to show off the high quality dog clothes they offer while we were proudly showing her off. Thank you for being the high quality, down to earth pet center that you are. We will see you soon!!!

The store was very bright, clean and busy on a Saturday afternoon. They have a good selection of puppies and seem to carry several brands of premium dog food. They also had a good selection of pet toys, collars and leashes, but the best thing I liked about the store was their puppy play area!
