Yesterday morning, this place burnt down. Owner said they will rebuild, but it will take time. I read the other review, don't understand what they where talking about. There was no drive thru window, but there is now, I guess. Sorry about the bad luck, Panda, but when you get back, I'll review you and hopefully get you going again... Until then...........
Pros: Lots of fresh air
Cons: Open air seating, for now....

I'm working on a playset for my kids, and have been comparison shopping for lumber. Dunn Lumber has a great website: www.dunnlum.com and you can browse and get prices for your lumber, etc. From my shopping list, I determined that I was going to be paying slightly more than Home Depot/Lowes, but a lot of that was because I had better wood to choose from at Dunn.
But what won me over was that Dunn has free delivery if your order is over $300 (and it's only a $25 charge otherwise). The other stores charge $50-60 delivery no matter what.
So I went to Dunn, and gave them my list. Man, they are so nice there! No wandering around for over ten minutes looking for help like is my usual Home Depot experience. You can give the Dunn folks your idea and they will walk you through your project if you want. They really know their stuff.
They took my big (for me) order, and gave me about a 5% discount on everything, so I really did end up doing a lot better than the other stores. They delivered my order the very next day, and the delivery guys gave the kids carpenter pencils which just thrilled them.
Oh, and I should add that the hardware that I needed was waaay cheaper at Dunn. I needed 100 3/8" lag bolts. They were $1.06 ea. at Home Depot, and at Dunn they were 50/$20. That is a HUGE difference!
Service was just wonderful, and it will keep me coming back.

Lenny’s, like PFI in Seattle, has really a really interesting array of imported European and Asian goods but unlike PFI, Lenny’s has fresh (as in use today!) produce. I call this just-in-time produce. But the prices are definitely cheap and the selection is good. You’ll find stuff you’ve never seen before, and stuff you can’t figure out, and you will definitely have a great experience. Try to ignore the Walmart that Lenny’s unfortunately shares a parking lot with. And watch your ankles--little old Russian women drive a mean shopping cart.

Ace is the quick stop for things like mower filters and blades, paint spatter cloths, and garden tools. Their plant selection is pretty healthy when they first get them in stock. The have specials on bulbs and on Christmas decor -- especially lighted reindeer and the like. The staff is motivated to get your questions answered and to get you checked out. The have a discount card that generates specials mailed to your home, many have been helpful like the ones on furnace filters. They don't have near the supply of goods that McLendon's does, but they fit an essential need.

More
They are listed as a Pharmacy and homehealthcare center, but they quit doing precriptions a couple of years ago and only sell home health equipment, and they are the highest priced in town, and they do not accept assignment for medicaire and do not bill most insurances. A consumer has to pay up front and do all the paperwork themselves to get re-imbursed and with their prices so high, that's not such a good deal!
