My husband and I have been going to this shop for about 5 years and I have been completely satisfied with my experience. I used to take my car to a dealership, where they consistently wanted to wring money out of me, but at Kings I've always experienced honesty, and good service at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them for all types of auto repair. The only down side is that there is no loaner car.

Eric is about one thing. Taking all your money. He is the most greedy person there ever was. He cheats his employees out of holiday pay and mandatory overtime. If you refuse to work FREE overtime, then he'll send you home regardless how much work there is. He also owns the store in Kent. Once he gets your vehicle, it's all over! Do your self a favor and STAY AWAY! Unless you have a surplus of money and like giving it to greedy people who try to get a head by cheating and stealing!

My normal shop was to busy to take my truck so they offered to tow it to King Transmission. This was Tue. 3/31. We had to call repeatedly and was always told they we're busy and would call back..They never did and when we would call back or stop in they acted as if we were inconviencing them. It was more than 8 days befor we ever even got an estimate or any kind of time line. Believe if I could have driven my truck it would have been long gone from this shop. Now 10+ days later (when on day 8 they said my truck would be done) We have to stop in again....because no call, to pick up our truck. OH and for $500 more than the top of their estimate. Talk about being taken to the cleaners. PLEASE PLEASE learn from our mistake and keep you car as far away from this incompetent shop as possible.

I have been going to Kings Transmission in Renton for years and can not say enough good things about the service and people who work there. They have replaced transmissions on 2 of my cars, plus they do a great job with general repair and maintenance. I refer all my friends and family to this auto repair shop.

The service here reminds me of the old neighborhood auto shop where the mechanics new everyone who lived in town. Eric, the owner of the shop is a great guy and was very helpful.
