I had my hair cut at Mai Tai's Beauty Salon && the lady there gave me a mullet, so I went to Creative Colours to get it fixed. I cannot thank Melissa Wolf enough, she saved my hair && my graduation. The cut is absolutely, 100% better than what I had && it looks great. I would recommend her && Creatively Colours to anyone. more

A year ago I made the mistake of dying my beautiful blonde hair purple and then due to a job hiring, covered up the unnatural color by dying it black!!.. I remember the first time I told Tamara what I had done to my hair, she told me i had done the worst possible color combination, and we were both doutful it would ever go back to the blonde it was.. but thanks to Tamara, a few salon appointments brought me back to my natural color, and my hair is even more healthy and softer than before i ever dyed it!! Tamara was so helpful and amazing! i would definitely recommend her for cuts, colors, treatments, anything.. I'v never been so in love with my hair! :) more

I've been seeing Tamara since she started her Spa business many years ago. When she opened her salon I was more than willing to switch to Tamara from my previous stylist. I have always been more than happy with my hair color and cut from Tamara and am a regular client. I would gladly recommend her to any of my friends and family and do recommend her often. I have a very odd cowlick on the left side of my hair towards the bottom, no amount of straightening, product, cutting or blow drying has ever fixed this. That is, until Tamara started cutting my hair. She has not only been able to cut my hair so that the cowlick is not noticeable, it stays that way for almost the full 6 weeks between cuts. No other stylist has EVER been able to do this for me. My color is always spot on and she always manages to help me pick a color that goes great with my very pale skin tone without looking washed out or a vampire. I will continue to see Tamara for all of my haircare needs and know I can always count on a great cut and color by a professional who takes great pride in her work. more

I have been going to Tamara for over 4 years now, and she's simply the only stylist who has been able to consistently cut my hair in a way that hasn't made me want go home and fix it. Her cuts are fresh and new, and she's very receptive to my input about the look I'm going for. Also, I was coloring out of a box for years before I went with salon coloring (out of fear of getting a crappy dye job), but I've never been happier with Tamara's truly creative multi-color weave. She selected a base color and lowlights and highlights that when together, create a very natural look that is best for my coloring. Best of all, the color looses only a touch of it's punch over time (I usually wait about 10 weeks between colorings!) and never becomes unsightly -- never brassy or ashy no matter how much time I spend in the sun. It's a very natural look that works so well for me. Tamara is simply the only stylist I've ever trusted to try new cuts and coloring, and I don't know what I'll do without her when I have to move from Reno in a few years! more

I have been going to Tamara for several years now and love her. She has been the first sylist that has given me highlights (my hair color is dark brown) that look great. Previous highlights would turn out brassy and my hair would get fryed. It is wonderful to have different shades and movement in my hair that look great and no dry hair. She is very much the perfectionist and always takes the time to make sure I am happy with the cut. I would highly recommend her to anyone. more

Tamara has been my stylist for nearly 7 years and I was there at the beginning of Creative Colours. I came to her in the first place because I was unhappy with the styles I was getting from other stylists, I wanted an updated cut, but one that would work in a classic way. She gave me a great style that I loved immediately. What keeps me coming back is that I frequently like to change my style and she seems able to read my mind so I always come out with a new cut that I love, using techniques for my fine hair that not everyone knows. I can continue to change my look because she is so up to date. I have recommended her to my friends, and now I recommend her to Judy's Book readers. more

I have incredibly thick dark course hair with a unmanageable wave that I tried to manage with a perm--> big mistake, hair trashed: horrible condition, several random colors (I tried to box it myself--oops...), grey roots and a crazy crooked cut: I became afraid of all hair dressers and I hated my hair!!! My hair looked terrible and I had roots at least 6" long and never felt like I could look good and it was always in a ponytail. I have a co-worker, whose hair always looks great keep telling me to come to her hair dresser who she loves and has gone to for years. I was still nervous and it took me a while to take the step. Well, silly me, wish I had jumped in earlier, Tamara was fabulous. She immediately made me feel at ease and I really felt heard and understood, she really took the time to empathize and support. She did several corrective color and conditioning treatments and an unusual texturizing technique that thinned out my unrully hair and my hair has been much better ever since. Yes, the frumpy perm will have to grow itself out but, Tamara has made that manageable and the health of my hair feels 100% better and the color was just right. So when I came back for my next appointment and Tamara told me about the 'supercuts' review that was really bothering her, I told her I would be happy to follow up with my personal story and why I now absolutely trust Tamara 100% with my hair. I am impressed with her expertise, quality techniques, educational method and enjoy her character. I would highly recommend her to anyone, whether with a nightmare on their head or just for a great feel good look. This is Tamara from Creative Colours and I take my reviews and work very seriously. It is true that we have a review program, but it is not in exchange for positive reviews, it is simply a system we have for our clients to share in their honest experiences and be allowed to sample a new service with us for their time= win/win. Read the details of the many reviews, clearly they are 100% genuine! A few months ago I went through a crazy period in life and I remember clearly the 'over the top' day that she refers to! The client who was 'too ash' spent the first 20+ minutes in consultation saying 'no orange, I only like ash,' and then was 'too ash,' but she still returns to me and will admit this is just her personality. The cut was a client that always complains about something, but returns for years. The brow wax is the only negative wax client I have ever had and I fully responded to her comments by refund and on google reviews. This reviewer told me she wanted a chunky weave and after the wash she said she wanted more lighter chunks around her face. I asked her if she was happy with the rest of her color and she said she was->matched the color she came in with--> golden! While I took the extra time to add in more highlights, I could have easily toned her hair. She specifically asked for high lift blond 'chunky' highlights, which she now calls white streaks! I do modern finish dry cutting and I do an invisible layering technique that my long haired clients love, that is anything but a 'supercuts' technique, in fact, I can't even have any one else cut my own hair anymore for no one seems to be able to master this technique. I cannot say why this client needed to so severely berate me publicly, for I GUARANTEE ALL OF MY WORK, AND ASKED HER AT THE TIME IF HER HAIR WAS WHAT SHE WANTED AND SHE SAID YES AND TIPPED ME $35!!! If later she has lots to publicly complain about, then I would encourage her to improve her in person communication skills vs pointedly damage a hard earned quality reputation. Agenda??? more
