I like the decor. I ordered a breakfast - really big egg combo. It was decent, less oily than Denny's or IHOP but then it didn't really jump out to be that different. I was hoping for more traditional diner style with something different. But I guess it's ok for this area for convenience.

ick. the food was MISERABLY greasy, left me feeling sick all day. the service was almost comically poor - 1/2 our table got their food right away, then it was at least 5 minutes until the other 1/2 got to eat. some people were already done by the time the other people at our table were getting served!
it's slightly overpriced for a burger joint but not too bad $-wise. regardless, unless i want a shake i'll skip ruby's next time.

I don't mean to say that Ruby's is owned by Johnny Rockets, but the similarities are uncanny. And strangely enough, both places seem to hire lots of high-school drill-team girls. Ruby's definitely has a kid focus that goes beyond model trains suspended from the ceiling, though that is more than enough of a draw for children to drag their screaming parents into a place like this. They also have the same sort of coloring thing that Red Robin provides for children. My recommendation: if your children love trains, don't take them within a block of this place, unless you like it too.

Here ye, here ye:
It's taken months where I got to a place in my life, emotionally, that I can even speak about Ruby's Diner. Located in Redmond town center, I’ve had a few memorable experiences here when my suburban-centric parents were in town. Said experiences left me physically unwell and somewhat psychologically wounded.
All of this is directly associated with one dish; the cinnamon roll French toast. The picture found on the menu makes it completely and absolutely impossible to order ANYTHING else…no matter how hard you try or how many times you’ve ‘learned your lesson’. The food itself is pretty delicious. I mean…it’s a form of cinnamon rolls. But with syrup. The synthetic yet positive feel of both the interior and the service does a good job of masking the impending disaster. As you probably guessed, the inability to not eat the entire plate of three huge rolls is on par with the ordering dilemma but with disheartening digestive consequences. I’ve literally ruined entire days.
This Rudy’s has delightful service, clean booths and efficient turnaround. Unfortunately, my visits have ceased due to being convinced Rudy’s has a personal vendetta against me. And my stomach. Enter with caution.

I went to the Redmond Ruby's Diner. Their interior is very good. My Kids love this place because of the train. Their burgers tastes good but they gets messy very easily. Their burgers are little bit oily which I didn't like but tastes is good nothing exceptional. Their strawberry shakes are very good.

Located in Redmond Town Center next to Borders and across from the Gene Juarez salon, this little diner decarated in fifties style is a great little spot for catching a bite with little kids. Everyone seems to go here with their kids, so no matter how much noise your kid makes, chances are it will never even be noticed. The food is good, not exceptional but just good burgers and also other entrees for the diet conscious. My four year old daughter begs to go in there every time we go through Redmond Town Center!

I just read a post on Johnny Rocket's and that reminded me of how much I like Ruby's Diner in comparison. We have been to the Ruby's at Redmond Town Center and also in Woodinville. I really like their hamburgers (although they have a tendency to fall apart very quickly). I always ask to substitute a turkey burger for the hamburger because, frankly, when Ruby's makes it I can't tell the difference in taste. I *love* their sundaes... Service is okay but not phenomenal. One time we were seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned. It was all sticky and I had to call the manager over who called the table bussing person over who had to clean it really quick. I filled out a comment card and sent it in to corporate hoping to get a coupon (I'm a coupon hussy) but never heard back from them.
Food is good and a little iffy service certainly won't stop me from going there again!

Ruby's Diner is a 50's diner in Redmond Town Center. It is a little pricey, but what restaurant isn't these days? It is an amazing place to go out for a meeting, get together, or date. Kids love it because of the train that runs around the room, as well as the decorations. They offer a good variety for adults and kids.

Ruby's is a 50's style diner, which usually isn't my speed, but the food was actually pretty good. So far I've had a few great breakfasts at Ruby's, but I've yet to try them for any other meals.
