I am a Malaysian, born and raised. I lived on the East Coast and have been to many Malaysian restaurants and this is the worst.
The first time we went, we ordered dry beef curry and just liked the name, the beef was so dried, like cardboard and we got about 6-7 pieces of 1" cube and cost $17! The Kangung Belacan was okay. We decided to go back to try the noodles, it was greasy, not even closed to what it is supposed to be like. It is not REAL Malaysian food.
Pros: The only Malaysian Restaurant?
Cons: Expensive

Food quality is great. Even Malaysians will find it a reasonable alternative to the real thing.
The one unauthentic disk I came across was the roti. It's really nothing more than Chinese pancakes. However the curry for the roti is good so it makes up for it.
Mee Siam is a always favorite with my Caucasian friends. You can't go wrong with most of their noodle dishes. The nasi lemak is also great.

I like their dishes - it tastes delicious and is conveniently located near work place. i usually get their appetizer roti dish - it comes with a bowl of curried potatoes and naan. YUM!

I think this restaurant is good but I still prefer to get the ingredients on-line and cook it myself. The site that has everything is www.asiansupermarket365

Beware of stale food. I had a lamb dish once I found it to be too stale (rubbery texture and weird smell). I thought its just me and had it, but I had a terrible stomach pain afterwards. I decided not to eat from there anymore and kept away from the place for many months (6+). Just today I went there, too tempted by the Indian roti canai, and got some Pinapple fried rice to go with it. I have the same stale taste on the chicken in it. It literally stinks.
My advice - if you are going there and having a dish, make sure you try to clean the meat/chicken pieces off any strong gravy and eat it by itself. You are most probably gonna get the weird taste. If so, don't eat it. Most of the times you don't realize the bad taste due to the gravy.
I'll miss the roti canai, but I am done with Malay Satay Hut.
Pros: Roti canai!
Cons: Stale food, possibly unhygenic, bad service

Pricey. But the appetizers are very authentic, and portions for entrees are substantial.
