I have been going to Optix for both my exams and eyewear since 2000. I've been satisfied not only with the level of customer service and attention to detail during my annual eye exam, but also with the advanced lens technology in the optical shop. The individualized lenses by Zeiss are the best progressive lenses around. Even if I purchase frames somewhere else, I always bring them to Optix for lenses where I know that they will be perfect. The selection of frames is also stylish and current with a focus on quality manufacturers, not the so-called "designer" frames that are all manufactured by the same company and merely branded. Finally, I should mention the extreme lengths that they will go to for their customers. I had ruined my favorite pair of frames, and even though they had long been discontinued, Optix was able to work with the manufacturer/vendor to find an unsold pair someplace else in the country--that's the type of relationship that Optix has with its vendors and its customers. If you value a long term relationship with your eye care provider, then I highly recommend looking into Optix.

I have been going to Dr. Collins for 12 years and have always been pleased with his eye exams that allow for the best prescription glasses I have ever had. He is fantastic! The eye wear he carries is top - notch merchandise and the Zeiss lenses he insists on using make a huge difference in my vision. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I highly recommend his facility to everyone. I often get compliment on my eyeglasses as they are unique styles that no one else seems to carry.

Dr. Collins does an excellent job of putting me at ease about the exam. He knows me and my family even though we only see him once a year. Eye care is very important to me and I feel confident that Dr. Collins knows what he is doing and does not miss anything.
The frames are expensive but very stylish. The collection is not extensive. You can take your prescription elsewhere if they don't have what you need.

I had to have surgery (way beyond Lasik) to correct extremely poor vision, and Dr. Collins -- and his staff -- took the utmost care of me during and after the process. The outcome was terrific - 20-30 vision! Dr. Collins is extremely particular and careful. You're in good hands with him. His optics are costly but very stylish and his staff is excellent!
