Great selections of books in what I would call a small space for a book store. With that, I feel it's bit crowded and finding a book is bit hard. But I do like the fact Seattle's Best is attached to the store and you can actually sit there and read. Which is something I miss about from Chapters in Canada. I really think it's a good idea for people to read what they are buying, even though some people might just read and not buy. But ultimately I think there will be more people buying than not. Always good sales and staffs are friendly. Lots of business books and novels. I wish it closed later but it follows the Redmond Town Center hour.

Borders in Redmond Town Center is a good place to pick up just about anything literary you may need. They have, of course, a wide variety of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, but they also carry a good selection of small gifts (think bookmarks, jewelry, & chocolates), calendars, and maps. Their children's section at this particular store is quite good, and their weekly, free story times for kids are fun to take your little ones to. (Check the store calendar for times. They do change from time to time.) The folks who work the information desk at this store are always friendly and quite helpful and have been known to walk customers to whatever they may be looking for. There are also several places to sit and read, and a coffee bar as well. Overall, a very nice place to spend a couple hours.
