Good, but not perfect...yet

This may be premature, but I thought it worth commenting about the "perfection" of Queen City Auto.
I was involved in a rear end crash (a distracted teen girl) where the back of my car was hit fairly hard. Superficially, my car really didn't look bad - but this was a second owner, semi-collectible car that had never before been in an accident.
Long story, short...I chose QCA based on the comments found here at Judy's Book and I am not YET convinced that the repairs are as 100% as I would have them.
When contacted to come and pick up the car (I was told it was ready to go) - there were a few issues.
1. Overspray in visible areas just under the trunk lid.
2. Misalignment of the bumper arches with the rest of the wheel well arch
3. Imperfections in the undercarriage (not 100% straight and true as it would be if it had never been hit)
Admittedly, you have to crawl under the car to see #3, but I WOULD KNOW IT'S THERE.
So, I left the car there - again stating "speed is not the issue, correctness is the ultimate goal"
I've given QCA a negative score yet, but the jury is certainly still out...

Small time operation that was straight forward with very reasonable rates for service. They provide a shuttle service around Redmond. Service took a little longer then they originally said but they called me in advance to notify me of this. Overall, very happy with the service.

We got new Andersen Renewal composite windows from these guys a few months back. Matt Gonzalez the owner/sales guy was very professional and courteous, taking plenty of time to walk us through the ramifications of our decisions.
The installation crew was on time and took less time than we expected, installing 8 windows in one day.
Sound Window just took over the Andersen contract, and their prices were lower than the previous owner of the contract with Andersen.
Recommended. If you use them, mention our names and you'll get a discount.

The sandwich options in Redmond Town Center are terrible. Piccolino's is way overpriced and consistently serves stale bread while Redmond Subs is not even as good as a Subway (which is bad). What makes me hate Piccolino's is that there is hardly any selection of vegetarian options at all (including in the soups) and the one "cheese" sandwich they do offer is gross, the bread is almost always stale (which is just plain unacceptable), and you're going to spend at least $10 on a lunch that should cost 5 or less. The only positive thing I can think to say about Piccolino's is that the employees have always been very pleasant, prompt, and friendly.

I just came back from Thai Ginger in Redmond, and like I remembered, the place is still very crowded during lunch, but the portion of the food is definitely different. For the two of us, we ordered, panang curry and curry fried rice. We were expecting to be full, but we were left with wanting to eat more food! Maybe I'm just a big eater, but I think they could afford to give us just a little more. As for the food, still pretty good as I remembered it to be, I only wish the portions were bigger.

Greg Richardson of Excel Drywall was recommended to me by a contractor friend for a small remodel job. He showed up on time, worked fast, delivered a quality smooth finish job on schedule, and charged what he said he would.
Greg was also pleasant to work with, kept a clean jobsite (tough to do with drywall), and was just generally a stand-up guy. If you have a residential drywall job, give Greg a try.
