Lake Shasta Caverns & Shasta Lake Dinner Cruises

Good: We Loved EVERYTHING!!!! not only were the surroundings AWESOME, the Food was GREAT, and the staff and servers were FANTASTIC as well !!!. Bad: NOTHING. Improvements: More than 1 Cruise a summer with Billy and Patrick KNCQ 97. Other: What a FANTASTIC evening this was ! we did'nt want it to end !!!! Lake Shasta Caverns & Shasta Lake Dinner Cruises is one of the grestest tourist attactions around. I have visited the caverns on many occassions, and have always had a great time. They offer many different tours for you to take. The Dinner Cruise is also a fantastic time. This is must have if you are looking for a good date location, or somewhere to go with the family. more

If you are in Redding you should do this. It is sad how many local people never actually go out here. The tour is great and it is neat to see something you might not ever see anywhere else. Really it is worth the time and money a dinner cruse makes it even nicer. Perhaps a good date but a must see. more

This place is totally awesome! It really is 3 adventures in 1. You start off with a catamaran boat ride across Lake Shasta. Then you dock at the base of the caverns. Hop into an air-conditioned mini bus, and then you are off for your ride up the side of the mountain. Once at the top, you start your foot tour of the caverns. The caverns, themselves, are a bit small…but still well worth the sight (especially if you’ve never been in a cavern before). The formations inside are truly amazing! And so is the view while driving up the mountain. Make sure you have your camera ready because the lake below is an awesome sight! Make sure you have your walking shoes on though, there are LOTS of stairs to climb inside the cavern. They also offer a dinner cruise, but we didn’t partake in that. more
