The new office this group of OB/GYNs moved into is really nice. They have a play area for children in the waiting room and multiple patient rooms for private exams that are all decorated comfortably. Walking up a bunch of stairs from the parking lot can be avoided by parking next to the other suite- the Avalon medical rejuvenation/spa. My biggest complaint is that sometimes I had to wait forever in their waiting room for my appointment. If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the office for you. I like that they have global billing so you receive a monthly statement/bill instead of having to pay your co-pay in the office every time you go in to see the doctor.

I have seen plenty of OB/GYNs in my years of moving around. When I first met Dr. Pena, I knew he was not just another "man" who didn't understand. He is a wonderful, compassionate, caring physician who actually listens to you and gives you all of your options. He is not the typical physician who has it in his mind that there is only one thing you can do, as I'm sure we have all come across. I have had plenty of obstacles to overcome and Dr. Pena has been right there by my side through it all. I would recommend him to anyone.

Thomas Wilson D.C. made such a difference in my pain and energy levels.
In the morning I had been waking more tired than when I went to bed, sleeping only a few hours at a time and feeling defeated.
After a few visits my old self started coming back and interest in life returned.
With no scheduled appointment you can just drop in as needed.

Wonderful, the employee all treated me with respect. And the Doctor treated me with true dignity. I would come back in a heart beat. This was the best experency I have ever had at Urgent Care.

I have bad teeth, geneitic of course. I came to Rooney John DDS after another dentist dropped a file down my throat, and was of course extremely nerviouse about another dental procedure. Dr Rooney made me feel comfortable, which was the most important thing at that point in my treatment. His staff genuinely cared about my health and well being. I am continually treated as a valued customer, and not a paycheck. Great dentist, great staff!

Whenever I need to buy some over-the-counter medicines for the cold, flu, or other physical ailments I usually get to Rite Aide. This location is clean, neatly organized, and newer. I also like to get my prescriptions filled here. I received friendly helpful customer service here by the clerks, as well as the pharmacists. It's nice to pick up a yummy ice-cream on the way out. Their drive-through pharmacy service is convenient when you're in a rush.

Dr. Mooney is a very competent doctor. He informs patients about possible conditions, but doesn’t overload them with information until he is completely sure that they may have a particular problem. This has really saved me from a lot of worries during my pregnancy. He can seem a bit brisk sometimes in the busy office, but always takes time to answer any questions that I have. One of the things I am not a fan of is that he is part of a rotating group of doctors that deliver babies (you get the doctor who is on call if you deliver outside of normal business hours or on the weekend), but that seems to be pretty standard for a lot of doctors these days. He doesn’t automatically tell you how much your stomach is measuring (kind of no information unless there is a problem), but I do really like that he volunteers positive news frequently. He does two ultrasounds standard during most pregnancies and has his own equipment in the office so you won’t be sent somewhere else and have to see a technician (he does them all himself). The biggest complaint is that sometimes I had to wait forever in their waiting room for my appointment. You can be kept waiting over an hour some days. If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the office for you.

This a great optometrist to go to in Redding. He always has the most up to date products and services. I would highly recommend him. He has been in the community for years. Great service. So much better than the mall type of optometrist, this is a real doctor offering quality service. Go give him a try.
