I had gone through a whole string of disappointments while trying out several other Chinese restaurants in the area, but when I tried out Yuet Bistro Dim Sum Bar, I was pleasantly surprised. It is definately a step above the rest. The decor is modern and clean. Service is fast. Food is good overall, although sometimes hit or miss with some items. I like the beef and green beans with black bean sauce and salty baked squid. The prices are reasonable, especially if you get the lunch specials.

We went to a birthday party here recently, and the service was mediocre at best. The server seemed distracted and said that the cake would be taken back and sliced, but never returned. The pizza and games are always a hit with the kids nevertheless. There were several machines that were broken, but the kids didn't seem to mind. The people working the games were helpful and would help us if a machine wasn't working or so forth. In the end we spent a couple hours eating pizza, watching the musical show, playing games, and left with a couple cheap plastic toys which the kids were excited about. Would return again once in a while on a rainy day. Could be improved by improving service, better cleaning, and fixing broken games or adding variety.

I have to tell you about Shasta Pizza Company located on Lake street in Redding California. Great food, at reasonable prices. We normally order the Shasta Special, which includes mushrooms, salami, green peppers, onions, a tangy sauce and of course, plenty of cheese! We order by phone, and pick it up at our convience. Again, Great food, with outstanding customer service!

And again, another great restauant in Redding California is Express China just off Hilltop drive in the Petco shopping center. I aways stop at Express china when I want something good and filling at an extremely reasonable price. I normally order a combo plate with hot noodles, general chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The have lunch special, and dinner specials with something for everyone. Highly recommended, from someone who eats out constantly!

Orange Julius is located at 900 Dana Drive. This is a must stop for me each time I visit Redding. I have to have an Orange Julius. They are conveniently located inside the mall, which makes for a easy stop. The food court is right at the edge of the mall, and parking is very convenient. They offer orange, or even a strawberry julius. I recommend anyone who likes Jamba Juice to try Orange Julius, Jamba Juice has nothing on Orange Julius.

I am a big fan of Pizza Hut Pizza. They make great delicious pizzas, but I'm a bit disappointed by this particular location. When we tried it out, it just felt dirty in there. It was nice that they had a children's area for them to play as we waited for our pizza to be ready, but everything from the carpet, tables, to the toys seemed old and dirty. When the pizza came out, was it my imagination or was the pizza not as good as other pizza hut pizzas? Maybe, I lost my appetite from the decor or maybe the pizza wasn't as tasty? I don't know because I never went back. I'll be willing to go back once they get a needed renovation.

PROS: were open go figure,have to make money somehow sure not in service

I know this place has been around for years, however, I feel there food is not very good. It tastes cheap even though you pay a fairly heafty price (considering the quality of food you get). I like the idea of a little coffee shop/diner, but the chinese food just doesn't fit in. They should pick either or. Some of the food is ok, but it wouldn't be my first place to eat when I was picking out a place to go.

I was a little disappointed in Tortilla Flats. In my opinion, it seemes a little overpriced with fewer choices than I am used to. The restaurant seems extremely dim, which makes reading the menu difficult. There were candles on the table, that did make it easier. Upon entrance we waited at least 20 minutes before seating, the chips seemed stale, while the salsa seemed overly bland. All in all I was disappointed.

We went to Pasta Pronto wanting something quick, but a bit healthier than fast food chain restaurants. We were happy to find a restaurant that could make good Italian food quickly. You could pick any pasta with any sauce and it was only $5.49, plus a added fee for extra ingredients. The pasta came with garlic bread as well. There are also value meals wihat come with soda or salad and are very reasonably priced. This is a good place to bring the familiy, especially if you have a picky toddler with you.
