This resturant has great food as well as being a great place to have a meeting. In addition it is a great place to take your kids with the games penny horses and machines they can keep busy while waiting for their food. However, they won't have much time to play since the food is served pretty quickly. They also have a great lunch buffet that includes pizza, salad bar, soup, cinnamon rolls, cheese bread and a soda. Two people can eat for under $15 during the buffet.
Pros: Inexpensive, Great place for kids, Good food

The food here is amazing! As they have posted in their restaurant, none of their ingredients come from cans. Everything is fresh and high quality. At lunchtime, the place is always busy. I recommend calling ahead and having your order ready to be picked up, or ready for you to eat when you get there. That way you don't have to wait, although the food is definitely worth waiting for! Easily the best burritos in the Redding area, and beyond!

We had to stay at the Holiday Inn during a business trip and were satisfied overall. I do believe it is a 3 star hotel. It was clean, well-managed, and located right on Hilltop. Hilltop is not scenic, but it is a convenient location near lots of businesses and restaurants. We received good service during our stay. When we requested a refrigerator one was brought up to our room immediately. Would stay there again.

We met a bunch of friends at the Upper Crust Pizzeria. The restaurant itself isn't that big, but it's big enough to have a wait on a Friday night. The pizza and beverage selection are wide enough to cover a lot of tastes.

This a nice resort with all amenities right on the lake, except the restaurant which is up at the top. There is a well stocked general store and a large clothing store.
Silverthorn has very nice well appointed houseboats. Their prices are on the high end. You could probably find a better value for your money elsewhere.
