I was a 40yr helthy womn on 9/5/06 I had my 1st surgery (hyster,TVT, etc) w/Dr.M, 09/19 I was re-admtd for a pelv/abd hematomia... I've had 3 surgrs since, last surgy @ Stanfrd Univ to REMOVE EVERYTHING 12/13/07. TODAY Im on sevrl Rxs & compltly disabled! Competent NO! follow up NO! I persnly know 3 other people (Redg area) under his hand, 1 lost a twin baby due to negligence, 1 was flown to UCLA to have her vag area rebuilt & so on.. SERIOUSLY IT'S YOUR CHOICE.. I WOULDN'T TAKE A DYING DOG TO HIM!

Dr. Mooney is a very competent doctor. He informs patients about possible conditions, but doesn’t overload them with information until he is completely sure that they may have a particular problem. This has really saved me from a lot of worries during my pregnancy. He can seem a bit brisk sometimes in the busy office, but always takes time to answer any questions that I have. One of the things I am not a fan of is that he is part of a rotating group of doctors that deliver babies (you get the doctor who is on call if you deliver outside of normal business hours or on the weekend), but that seems to be pretty standard for a lot of doctors these days. He doesn’t automatically tell you how much your stomach is measuring (kind of no information unless there is a problem), but I do really like that he volunteers positive news frequently. He does two ultrasounds standard during most pregnancies and has his own equipment in the office so you won’t be sent somewhere else and have to see a technician (he does them all himself). The biggest complaint is that sometimes I had to wait forever in their waiting room for my appointment. You can be kept waiting over an hour some days. If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the office for you.
