I have lived in the Redding area for a while. Mission Beauty has everything one may need, the prices are not the cheapest in town but there's really no where else to go. In regards to service, I agree you're rolling the dice. I haven't used their spa or salon as I see my girls in Sacramento. Sometimes, I avoid the larger store all together and go to the one on Lake Blvd. Dotti... If someone knows the owner why shouldn't he write about how she treats people - That is part of the business, Isn't customer service most important? Oh and samples would be great. I never get any when I go in??

They have one of the largest selections of product in town. Most of which is marked up anywhere from 30 to 50%, even with the $5 off punch card. If you have a question, you'll be lucky to get one of the few with knowledge. Frannie and Whitney in the spa are excellent, as are Tracey and Genny in the Salon. You're rolling the dice with any one else. The board should take a look around, it's dirty ie., Nail Tech's. It's too bad ULTA hasn't come to town. Food for thought: Linda Olson the owner, is Satan in the flesh. It's because of one or two people she's still in business, as she hasn't a clue how to manage her store's let alone her staff. Her conduct is harsh, her words are spoken with daggers ready to rip you to pieces. If I had as many wrinkles as her, I'd get a microdermabrasion machine that actually worked... Last but not least, the bio silk trial size bottles at the registers are free, distributed as samples - She sells them for $1.50 as she would one of her own children if the prices was right. Linda, be nice to those you meet on your way up, as you'll see them again on your way down.

After reading the review about high prices at Mission Beauty on Dana Dr. in Discovery Village I had to reply., (the idea that their prices are 30% higher on Redken products is just plain silly) I have been a customer since they first opened in the late 70's in Mission Square and have found them to offer the best customer service, greatest selection and overall best prices of any Supply/Salon not only in Redding but in any such store in California, I can say this because I travel a great deal and have been in dozens of beauty stores all over Calif. I love beauty stores (what women doesn't) and Mission Beauty most of all. I just recently bought Sleek shampoo and conditioner liter duos that was about 50% less than regular price. Shop at the store and see for yourself !!!

This supply house has very high prices!! please shop around because if you buy your products from Mission on Dana Dr. in Redding, Ca, you are without a doubt paying way to much money!!Their prices on Redken product are at least 30% higher than you need to pay!! Buyer beware!!
