We asked an elderly woman at the gas station where to go for breakfast and she said she ONLY goes to Country Waffles. We could see why - amazing selection of breakfasts (they'll substitute just about anything, too), with waffles, omelettes, skillets, eggs any way you'd like, waffles of all sorts, fruit, crepes, you-name-it! Not too much of a greasy-spoon, but also not "light" (unless you get fruit + oatmeal?). Prompt service - when we sat down, we asked for a "short order of buiscuits" - thinking she'd bring us 1-2 biscuits - and instead we got 2 biscuits soaked in sausage gravy - totally delicious, even though not our original intent. Would definitely go back. Pros: Fast service, huge selection Cons: Gotta be very specific with your order, antiquated decor
