The dynamic front and back end staff at The Golden Lotus, in addition to a very culturally invigorating atmosphere, all aide in giving the Golden Lotus the 5 stars which it deserves. The biggest problem with finding a good Indian Restraunt is the perfect balance of seasoning and spices - such that it isn't burn the tounge spicy and certainly not tasteless and drab. After having enjoyed nearly all the dishes on the menu, alongside numerous different freidns and colleagues, I can honestly say that not one guest of mine has NOT enjoyed an entree at this fine restraunt. PROS: Great Food, Reasonable Prices CONS: Hard to Find Parking

This is a delightful restaurant! The American owner lived in China and had to flee the country during times of trouble. He is a wonderful man filled with stories of life in China during the earlier part of the last century! Try the house special shrimp a delicious fried dish servd with a sweet and pungent sauce. Also try the the shrimp with pecans a delightful stir fry shrimp made with mayonnaise and lightly sweetened pecans (sounds strange, perhaps, but it's a wonderful surprise). This is a great place to take a special date. After dining, go for a drive along ocean!

I recently revisited the Golden Lotus. The food was just as great as I remember it. I also learned they no longer use MSG in their food...a big plus for me! But what really pleasantly suprised me was their live music. Soothing and serene it was the perfect touch to a lovely dinner. I'm sure I'll be visiting there more often now. Pros: Take out available
