Wang's Kitchen is a top notch chinese delivery restaurant. They provide large portions of their main dishes - enough for two people. My husband loves their fried dumplings and I am a sucker for their egg rolls. Delivery time is generally forty-five to fifty minutes, so order before you are too hungry.

Lake Johnson, located off Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh, has excellent walking trails for both the beginner and the advanced exerciser. Bring your pooch, as long as he is on a leash, and bring a poop bag with you. The lake also has soccer fields, a playground for the children, exercise activities throughout the trail and a dock with boats you can rent.

I love Kanki!! It is soo good. I was skeptical at first, but the food is great. When going to Kanki, the best advice is to try their "kanki sauce." It is the best sauce that I have ever tasted! Kanki gives you a lot of food for your money. I normally get a box to take home. Kanki has habatchi grills and they cook right in front of you (my kids love this). They do all sorts of little entertaining tricks while they are cooking. The atmosphere, service, and food is great. I have been to much expensiver resteraunts (like the angus barn), and Kanki outdoes them in food taste by far. A couple could expect to pay aroundd $45.00-$50.00 dollars for their meal. But it is well worth it!

I am into fabric, and I absolutely love this shop. It is kinda tucked away on a side street off of Falls of the Neuse, but definitely worth finding. All colors of fabrics abound here, especially if you just can't seem to find that one fabric to set of your quilt. They offer a wide variety of quilting classes, and also have patterns as well as custom machine quilting. Great little store!

I have gotten some of the most beautiful flowers at atlantic ave garden center. I rent, so I dont buy live plants often (I also kill them which is another god reason). this place however is phenomenal. If I ever figure out where I left my green thumb i will definatly be coming back to visit them again. A amazing store full of eautiful things.
