When purchasing our home a year ago, we wanted our dining room walls be all mirrors so we called The Glass Man. They gave us an estimate first and they were very knowledgable. We also wanted 3 inch borders, which they provided. It took a couple of hours and they did a great job. The room now looks larger and more bright than before. Now my wife wants it in our bedroom! I recommend this company.

Dominic's NY Pizzeria does an excellent job of replicating authentic NY pizza. The crust is nice and thin. The sauce is sweet, but not too sweet. The toppings are pilled on thick, thick, thick. Dominic's NY Pizzeria also offers homemade chocolate and vanilla cannolis, black and white cookies and New York style cheesecake. Mange!

"Welcome to Moe's!" the staff yells at you as you enter this humble eatery. The menu fare is simple, but the names are anything but. Once you learn the nicknames and lingo though, you'll be OK. My favorite is the Joey C. This restaurant also serves beer and margaritas - not something you often see in fast food restaurants.

In addition to walking you can canoe or paddle boat on the lake, and the arts center in the park offers photography, pottery and writing classes that can be fun for the entire family.

Nothing looks better than a great lawn. This summer we didn't get much rain and so many yards looked fried out. Not ours! Jay's is a couple miles from where I live and I found them in the local directory. They do good work and you can hire them by the week or month. They also do snow removal and brick paving. Free estimates. Their work is good and I recommend them.

We used this service to have our lawns cut on our home and our rental properties. The guy that services our lawns and gardens does a first class job. He is almost always on time, he has only been late once. The rates that we are charged for services rendered to all our properties is very cheap. He also never leaves any mess behind and our garden looks great.

This is the perfect place to go if your looking for a gift for a girlfriend, or a friend that is a girl...you can defintly find somethign unique taht they are bound to love. Some of the items are a little expensive, but still reasonably affordable.

These are my opinions as a regular rider, living in Raleigh without a car.
The bad:
-Most CAT bus routes operate at low frequencies, leaving riders with waiting times of up to an hour.
-A late bus is not uncommon. My guess would be maybe 1 in 4 or 5 busses is over 5 minutes behind schedule. Sometimes this is due to poor schedule planning, sometimes this is due to mechanical problems, and often it is simply due to undisciplined drivers who seem not to care.
-The bus routes often travel in circles, or deviate from the main roads. Because the routes are not very direct, they waste a lot of time. For example to go outside the beltline on New Bern Avenue from Downtown you need to switch busses at Wake Medical, despite this being a major street and a distance of under five miles.
-At evenings and Sundays many bus routes are combined meaning riders have to sit through big loops, and much of the city isn't covered at these times. Also, on evenings and Sundays all routes are scheduled to leave the bus terminal on the hour, and complete there route within an hour. This often results in late busses, and waiting an extra hour downtown due to a missed connection.
However, there are some good aspects to CAT:
-If you are fortunate enough to be in an area with multiple bus routes not to far from downtown (Downtown, NCSU, Crabtree Valley mall, etc.) the service is more than decent.
-The busses do cover most of Raleigh, with the exception to the Leesville area and some of the area outside of I-540.
-The fare is reasonable. Many even ride for free (State Govt. Employees, City Employees, Wake County Employees, NCSU students, and a few others).
-The city and CAT management have made some major improvements in the past few years, and seem dedicated to improve service, they just need a substantial investment in additional vehicles and increased budget.
-Most drivers and riders are friendly.
