I have had nothing but good exat the RDU airport. i wish the sirport was a little larger so yuo could get direct flights to larger cities in the west. For teh most part however it isnt hard to catch a flight to new york or dc. the flighst out are not that expensive eitehr (i guess tahts not a trend of the airport). Parking is expensive if you leaver your car there so I reccommend taking cab when yuo are going to be gone a while.

Stay here on business several months back and found this location the best so far in the chain. I have stayed at Hampton Inns across the country and none compare to this location. Friendly helpful staff. I asked about restaurants in the area and was given several great recommendations. One in particular was a little out of the way and one of the employees offered to have me follow him so that I would no problem finding it. Where else would you get that? (Did find it on my own.)

I recently stayed at the Ramada Blue Ridge while in town for a NC State football game. The hotel is so close to the game, within walking distance. As a matter of fact the hotel is within walking distance to several great points of interest. The staff is so friendly and were a great help from giving directions to making dinner reservations. We really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it was affordable and the food was great! Not to mention the friendliest server we have seen in a long time. This hotel lhas everything if you're planning a trip to Raleigh!
Pros: knowledgeable and friendly staff all around!

After driving back from Marietta GA I was exhausted and not feeling well. I also had a dog that I picked up and was taking back with me that was sick the whole way. I stopped at this Sheraton and they do not allow dogs. After seeing that I am a Starwood Preferred Guest, they reviewed my record with SPG and authorized the dog to stay within my room. I couldn't have asked for better service that night. Seeing that I wasn't well and the dog was sick, they had a bellhop to take her out every hour for me since I wasn't able. Now how many hotels do that? Also they treated the dog to food from the restaurant downstairs that was 'plain' for her upset tummy.
Prices at this Sheraton are within line of others - but the service was above and beyond what's expected! I highly recommend this Sheraton.

We used AAA Vacations to book our honeymoon and were very pleased. Our travel agent was friendly and very helpful in helping us choose all of the different aspects of our vacation. She was always more than willing to ask questions when I called later after booking. She was able to get us a better deal than a general travel agent that we had talked to. She even called to follow up after our trip, which I really appreciated. You can just walk in--no appointment necessary. We will go here again to book another vacation.

I recently visited Raleigh for a business trip. I was really looking forward to staying at a cozy bed and breakfast or a larger hotel in Raleigh, but my company chose the Ramada Inn at Blue Ridge. I found the desk staff to be friendly but very slow. The amenities are typical for a low end hotel although I did appreciate the wireless internet access. The bathrooms are very industrial.
The Ramada has a pool and a basic fitness room (one treadmill) I was really disapointed with the breakfast and restaurant. The continental breakfast is basically coffee, juice and some muffins. If you want a sit down meal with your family at breakfast, be prepared to wait a long time for service (there was only one server for the entire place) and the food was absolutely flavorless. Not worth the nearly 10 bucks it cost to get scrambled eggs (runny), sausage (oily) and grits that I didn't order. I never got the fruit plate I'd ordered and at that point I didn't want it anymore.
The Ramada is close to the state fair grounds so if you're going there it's worth it for the closeness, but don't come here with high expectations.

We used Hyatt Place to house our wedding guests. All aspects of our experince with them was great. From setting up the block of rooms, to accommodating our guests and handing out gift bags to each room, they were flawless. Our guests were so pleasd with their rooms. We found this hotel from a recommendation of a friend that used them for their wedding guests.
I would highly recommend using this hotel.
