The steak is good don't get be wornf...but you're eating it in a barn. It's hardly wirth the $50 price tag. they do have a nice wine cellar, whcih is also overpricedm, but has some bottle you can't find other places in the area.

The Angus Barn has long been one of Raleigh's most well known steakhouses. The wine list is huge, so if you enjoy wines, this is a place to go. However, I have had much better steaks at other local restaurants. Also, the prices are expensive. For the money, I would recommend that you look elsewhere.

Located off highway 70, near the outer 540 beltline, the Angus Barn offers a charming atmosphere. Bring your credit card, because the Angus Barn is expensive. The outside of the restaurant looks exactly like a big red barn. Once you enter the restaurant, you are inside a large open space. The food is good, the atmosphere is wonderful.

My family and i went to the Angus barn for dinner a few nights ago. For a family of four, our bill was $157. The place is mostly a steak restaurant, so we all had steaks. I must say I have definatly had better. Much better. They do have a wine list thats more of a book than a list, if you are a wine conissour, its worth a trip for the wine, but not for the steak.

Angus Barn is the best place I’ve been in Raleigh for a terrific steak. Large vaulted ceilings, dark wood paneling, and big game on the wall and create ambiance and character. While you wait to be seated help yourself to a cold hors d’ourves bar – pickles, crudities, olives and the famous Angus barn blue or cheddar crock cheese. After you get seated, enjoy the wonderful food. The waiters are always polite and the steaks are great. Ribs aren’t that great. The BEST thing is their Cappuccino Cheesecake or Chess Pie. Do not skip dessert whatever you do.

This place is very expensive if you are on a budget. It is a good place to go for special occasions or to take a date. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. Every time I go I usually end up getting a steak. They’re good so I haven’t tried anything else. I would definitely recommend this place.

i'll get the bad out of the way - entrees are 25-50 bucks each here. that being said, and taking the price into account, this place is still amazing. magnificent steaks and chicken are to be had here, and in quite generous portions too. iirc there was some seafood there too, so meat lovers of all kinds can have a good time here. sides/appetizers/extras were also quite good, and the service was excellent.

If you like steak, this is THE place to go in the triangle area. For years now, this restaurant has been one of the area's premier restaurants and is on the list of many business travelers, and tourists. The restaurant is set in a barn-like setting, but the food is simply fantastic. They offer an extensive wine list, and full bar. The Chocolate Chess pie heated, a la mode is out of this world.

The Angus Barn is a high quality restaurant. The appearance and atmosphere hints that it is for rich people, but the prices are very good.
There is a large selection of all kinds of foods and wines.
It actually looks like a barn from the outside, but when you go outside it is a three story luxurious restaurant with a small store selling souvenirs, and also quality cigars.
The restaurant also has a full bar called the Wild Turkey Lounge. It has a selection of over 50 domestic and imported beers, over 30 wines by the glass, liquors, martinis, cordials, single malt scotches, and regular drinks such as sodas.
