Well as others stated they were pretty good initialy. They answered all maintence calls, but took several months to repair some drywall from a leak. They did rental inspections every six months and were always without any problems. Be very carefull about renewal with them. Their leases trap the renters into a 60 day written termination that is automatic. What this means to the renter that you are then bound by the "initial term" lease, and then also the "month to month" extension of lease. if you are going to rent from them have them remove the "month to month" portion from the contract or change the termination to 30 day written termination which is the norm. You have that right or rent from someone else. They will notify you that you are nearing the end of your lease and send you a renewal form, but not until about 45 days prior to the current lease expiration date. They do this purposely so that if you decide to move they can collect another 2 months of rent.I had a semi annual inspection less than 30 days from the day I moved out my home and it was flawless and even always got compliments of the upkeep of the home. Then after I move out I pay for carpet cleanings as required by their lease, and general home cleaning and all landscaping through the end of the lease. I then get a security deposit bill saying I owe them an additional several thousand dollars for damages and cleaning? After they keep my several thousand dollar deposit as well. Then they also try to debit my bank account 45 days after my move for more rent. They attempted to remodel this home at my expense. Almost $1k for a hole in the drywall the size of a baseball in a bedroom. They have been reported to the NC renters association and I was told they have a pending investigation for unfair landlord practices. I would not recommend them for a landlord, and if you do please have your lease looked at by an attorney. I have retained one for my situation with them. It's hard to believe I paid them about $50k in rent on a home that wasn't great to beg

We rented a home that Clark Properties managed. They were very nice at the move-in, but at move out, they catered to the home owner and wrote dishonest and blatantly false information on the move-out form. Later, they failed to send copies of the original signed form. They also This information could be used to delay or impede return of security deposit. Overall, very poor service, dishonest, and unprofessional. Avoid at all cost.

We have been looking for a townhouse in wake forest - and finally found one that Clark Properties manages. We put in our application and they said another person was also looking. They wanted the security up front (which makes no sense to me, since they hold the check until the lease is signed) and they charge a $50.00 application. They gave the townhouse to another person without running our application.
When requesting the reason why and a copy of the denial, I was ignored. Michele and Nicole both ignored me. I gave them the respect they deserved however, they were not kind enough to do the same for me.
They cashed the $50.00, however at this time, I'm going to have to have the bank reverse it since they cannot come up with proof of my application being run.
I think they are just out for the money - so be very care. I have all the emails where they ignored me - so if you want them, you can see them.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! Don't fall for the scam!

Looking for a rental property? Try contacting Clark Properties. My wife and I have been renting for the past 7 years, and this company is by far the best we have come across. They have an updated website with information on available properties and they are extremely easy to work with. We found a rental townhome through their website last year and set everything up from our old home in Arizona. Nicole and the rest of the staff are friendly and very helpful. We're moving to Apex, NC in a few weeks and chose a house through Clark Properties again. We definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a rental property.
