Best Pizza I have had in Raleigh. Very reasonably priced. The crust is just awesome. It can be loud and hard to find a seat, but I usually just go sit outside or take the pizza home if I go during the restaurants peak times.
Pros: price, quality, taste (best crust)
Cons: seating, noise

Lilly's has awesome pizza. Anyone can find something to make them happy here. The inside is...funky and colorful. The first time I ate at Lilly's I was visiting Raleigh and very cranky because I was starving. I'm so happy I stumbled upon Lilly's. I highly recommend it!

Just wanted to update my review. Went there yesterday and it's still as amazing as ever!! You might overlook Lilly's--yeah it's a little sketchy with the waiting in an oftentimes to the door line, seating yourself, and having your name yelled out a million times, but trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. You can't go wrong with any of the Lilly's pies. Don't be lame and order just a cheese or pepperoni slice, go out on a limb--you won't regret it. Five Points, Buddha, Green Jeans are all highly recommended. The salads are to die for as well, particularly the Roasted Veggie Salad--it takes a while, but it's totally worth the wait! Pita points appetizer is super dank as well. All in all you can't go wrong at Lilly's.
Pros: Awesome pizza and salad
Cons: A little bit on the pricey side, sometimes it gets smoky in there from all the pizza ovens cooking that delicious pizza

Our favorite pizza at Lilly's is the Buddha pizza, a vegetarian delight with big slices of tomatoes and lots of mozzarella. We've found them to be reasonably priced with appropriate amounts of food. Their variety of pizzas is definitely unique. Come early on a weekend night because they get packed fast! While parking is not the greatest in that area, it is worth the drive and possibly the walk to eat there!

It is quite a unique atmosphere! There are pictures from local artists hanging on the walls as well as various intriguing sculptures and items adorning the joint. Lilly's has a very chill ''hippy'' atmosphere although you see all walks of life dining there. It is refreshing to see the State students sitting amongst the "white collar" business men and the middle class families. The reasonably priced pizza is the best that can be found in Raleigh/Durham! A very inviting atmosphere that is a welcome "breath of fresh air" from the high-end restaurants that can also be found in this area. A place that every local loves and every out-of-towner should visit at least once!
Pros: Delicious pizza, Friendly atmosphere, Resonably priced
Cons: Parking, Sometimes long lines

The Triangle's best pizza! We drive quite a ways to come to Lilly's. All of the pizzas are great, and the sandwiches too. Unlike other pizza joints, Lilly's actually has good salads too -- not just the boring iceberg lettuce pieces in a bowl. This place is known for its food -- but not for its high-class ambiance! Lilly's is a dive, but if you appreciate it for what it is you won't be disappointed. It has crazy eclectic decorations and is often pretty smoky (sit outside if the weather's nice), but it's fun if you're open minded!
Pros: food, wacky ambiance
Cons: smoky

Lilly's is an all time favourite. Sure, I've been there when they played the music a little too loud, but you know? they are artists, they rock! Even when once, in 7 years of being a patron they undercooked my calzone, they immediately fixed the problem. I love the quirky atmosphere, funky art and all the awesome local farms they support. One of the many reasons I eat there is the hormone free meat. I am delighted they now have gluten free dough. I have 2 good friends with celiac, and am Proud to offer a rocking pizza as an option for eating out. I used to be vegan back in the day, and would delight in their salads and the vegan cheese option... yeah yeah I might hug trees too, but Lilly's deserves a huge hug from all of us.
Pros: local food, hormone free, organic when possible
Cons: ??? sometimes it gets loud

I've always loved Lilly's Pizza. My favorate is the South of the Border pie. I drive from Apex to get it. But the last couple of times I've gone I've been disappointed. Lilly's uses all these great ingredients, but if they're not distributed evenly it can result in a bad pie. For instance, last night I thought they forgot the jalepeno peppers. I was wrong. They were on one of my husband's slices. And I got the slice with the chicken, but not much cheese. Do you see what I'm saying? You can't just throw the ingredients on the pie. It's not rocket science, but you do need to make an effort to distribute the ingredients.

This is my favorite pizza place in Raleigh. Hands down. I take my friends and family who visit to this place. Great toppings, great dough, interesting specialty pizzas, fun interesting space. Yes, sometimes the service aren't the most pleasant, but most of the time they are fine and helpful. Its a little chaotic when its busy with the noise, line, etc... but its all in all fun place to eat. I've had pizza all around the country, NYC, Jersey, Chicago, Cali, and Lily's is def top 5 favorite pizza places ever.
Pros: Amazing pizza, local art for sale, really casual
Cons: Service can be a little cold at times, can get chaotic

The prior review - family unfriendly / bad service - is not to be believed. This same father cursed and screamed repeatedly in front of other customers and toward the staff. Secondly, it was his first experience, not fifth. Lastly, he was so rude & disruptive that he was asked to leave. And for what, a pep pizza that was 10 minutes late!!!! phenomenal. Still the Best Pizza in Raleigh. The crew wants to help you - unless you are an angry, hypocritical sociopath.
Pros: everything
Cons: none
