When our daughter got strep last month. I couldn't reach our regular doctor so I gave this urgent care a call. They worked us right in! When I told our doctor we went to them, he was happy we went there cause they really care. When we left the office manager told me some of the things the offer: lacerations, sprains, and fractures, besides illness. X-rays available on site and all of the physicians are board certified.Walk-ins are welcome 7 days a week.They have two locations,Raleigh and Cary.They accept most insurance plans and accept mastercard and visa.
PROS: Extended hours
CONS: High traffic area

Sometimes we call this the Star Trek dentist--there are mini-computers and high tech equipment everywhere. But Dr. Adams is also very nice and competent. They will work to fit you in if you have an emergency. They are not in my dental plan but the charges are still mostly covered so the rates seem competitive.

I chose this lady because I prefer international doctors. At this time I had no major health issues. She seemed okay at first until I had major issues. I went to her for irregular bleeding, she examined me told me that I had to go to ER. I went to ER and they told me it was a menstrual cycle, probably brought on by stress but it was not an emergency and there were no signs to indicate so.
Next time, I went to her because I had a chest infection, rather than examine me and prescribe antibiotics, she sent me to ER. They checked me, and said there was no sign of pneumonia and gave me antibiotics.
Last and final time I saw her, I went to her because I had problems breathing (I have allergies during summer). She told me I might have asthma but did not run any tests. Instead she gave me meds for allergies. It was allergies, I knew this because I have it every year.
She has a tendency to panic people rather then indicate that she is not qualified to give a diagnosis. In retrospect, I should have filed a complaint,

For persons with nontraditional family issues, from ethnic backgrounds or who may be immigrants, this counselor may be able to assist. He is professional, oh so patient and well traveled. He has a diverse cultural background and can be quite empathetic to many issues one may present.
He is highly recommended.

I've been with Mary Moody for over 10 years and although her practice has grown she knows my name, remembers my history and always gives me plenty of time at appointments. Linda Mohr delivered my baby and although labor was too long and very complicated, I would give her a great review because she avoided the c-section. Most doctors would have gone in, but she stuck it out with us for the whole night (longer shift than she had planned) and delivered my daugther.
