The dental practice of Linberger, Lotz & Weaver should receive highest oral hygiene accolades. Staff members are always courteous and professional in their dealings with patients. My dental hygienist, Karen, is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to my teeth. She is always extremely gentle when cleaning, and my gums have never been left a bloody pulp. Dr. Weaver is my assigned dentist in the practice, and he has never caused me unnecessary pain or suffering. Not many people can say this, but I really love my dentist.

When nothing else worked, I came here, and they made me healthy. Liberal with their drug prescriptions, but hey, I can breathe, and I don't have pneumonia anymore! All in all, very helpful, and can usually see you right when you need to get in. Not on my health plan, but oh well. They are now the place I go first when I get sick. . . and I get better quickly!

I was very impressed by this new dermatology office that recently opened near my home. I didn't get to see dr. Echt, but did see Kelly who is a PA w/ the practice. She was such a sweet lady! I had a full body scan to check for any signs of sundamage and she was very easy to talk to. She also was able to give me information on a skin condition I have and her nurse gave me some ideas on where to get the medicine for the cheapest price since it is not covered by most insurance! What a great practice!!

Dr. Wiles is excellent. He has cared for our two-year-old girl since her birth, and we have been so happy with his and Nurse Janet's care. They know her (and us) well and are incredibly patient and attentive. I appreciate the extensive consultation time we get with them...at her two-year appointment, it seemed like we talked for nearly an hour--and who couldn't use that much professional advice when it comes to dealing with a two-year-old? Dr. Wiles is full of ideas, but not judgmental or overly commanding. After each visit, I leave there feeling like a capable mom with a healthy, happy child.

Dr. Chandler of North Raleigh Gastroenterology delivers amazing care, and he’s very thorough and thoughtful. He checked me out for celiac’s disease, and at the end of his care, I felt like I was in very good hands. He checks out everything—your family history, your personal history, your symptoms, and then he systematically rules out all possibilities until he comes up with your diagnosis. Most doctors do this, too, but Dr. Chander makes you actually feel good about your treatment. I went under the knife with him, and he was very gentle and comforting before the procedure, explaining everything in ways I could understand afterward. I highly recommend him.

While I haven't been to him myself, my father, who is almost 68 and who has had to have eye surgery, and my sister, who is 28 and has had to have some procedures done to her eyes, both highly recommend Dr. Joyner. My father says he has been a patient of Dr. Joyner since 1992, and Dr. Joyner has always given him supreme care, including follow up visits and preventative treatment. My dad would know too--he has diabetes, 20-200 eye sight without glasses, glaucoma, and, as mentioned, a cataract removed. I wouldn't hesitate to go to him based on my dad and sister's recommendation. Hope this helps.

We started with this practice at thier six forks location when my oldest child was born. Now, we are going to their Wakefield location. The sixforks office is much larger and has separate sections for well-child visits and sick children. Both sections have televisions programmed on cartoon channels to keep kids occupied during the wait. The Wakefield office does not have this. What the Wakefield office does have is Dr. Ryan. He was our attending pediatrician with our oldest child and we were so pleased with him, that we switched offices so that we could continue to see him. He is a young doctor with a lot of personality and is really great at making children feel at ease during the visit. Others must feel the same way, because it is now very difficult to get an appointment with him!

If you are looking for a dentist near the downtown area, Dr. Shareff is great! I live in North Raleigh and don't mind the drive to be in his care. FIrst, let me say, that I am no fan of denists! I dislike having my teeth cleaned and abhor fillings- But, having said that, I must admit that Dr. Shareff makes things a little less uncomfortable. Dr. Shareff's personality is super- personable. He is hilarious and always takes the time to find out about the current events in your life. When it comes time for the actual procedure, I am usually nice and relaxed because of this. He also brings in his own collection of cds to play so you are not forced to listed to the same old drab elevator music! Thumbs up to this dentist!

This is a great place to take martial arts, both for kids and adults, especially excellent for families. The head instructor (Jung Ho Lee) is the owner. The youngest of 7 brothers, all tae kwon do masters, he is hardworking, dedicated to his students, and a true master of the martial arts. There is a great after-school program for kids during the work week, and classes in the evening, and there are classes on Saturday morning. If you are looking for a place to take tae kwon do in Raleigh, or for your child to, going to Lee Brothers’ is by far the best decision you can make.
