I and my family have had occasion to see both PA's and Dr. Huang. Although it is sometimes frustrating to wait on phone for appt. (don't call after 4 p.m.!), I have always found the staff to be courteous. Dr. Huang gave thoughtful consideration to us as patients. Usually I have to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes to see the PA or DR., however, as they take all the time I need to address my concerns, I know they are doing this with the other patients and do not mind. If one does not want to see a PA, all one has to do is request an MD.

Made an appointment to see Dr. Huang today because my doctor, Dr. Avery, is on vacation. I waited in the exam room for more than 45 minutes before Dr. Huang showed up (terrible attitude in tow). I explained that I was a patient of Dr.Avery, gave him a brief history and some detail regarding changes to my symptoms - which included severe pain in the top of my foot and trouble with mobility. Dr. Huang had me walk in the hallway and did a brief check of each foot. He then told me numerous times that he couldn't help me because I wasn't his patient. Further, he said that he didn't know my history and there wasn't anything he could do for me. I challenged him, asking if I was understanding him correctly, incredulous at his flip manner. He responded that my reflexes and circulation were fine and that, "if a rheumatologist, orthopedic surgeon and Dr. Avery hadn't figured out my problem, I certainly can't do so in ten minutes". Dr. Huang was rude, inpatient, insensitive and immature. He showed no compassion for me whatsoever.
My symptoms have changed in the last week and I needed some relief. All I got was Dr. Huang's sarcasm. I asked him several questions - all were answered with a sarcastic, "I can't answer that, you're not my patient." I got off the exam table and told Dr. Huang that I couldn't believe I'd waited 45 + minutes to be spoken to in this way and not received any treatment. Then he wanted to talk?!? He suggested that I may want to see a neurologist and said that, if I'd just give him five minutes he'd.... I said, you'll what?
No answer. The only decent thing he did was offer to refund my co-pay. I refused, telling him that I was leaving. He sarcastically said that he hoped I felt better. I asked to speak with the office manager on the way out. She was courteous and apologized to me. Too little, too late. I can't remember how long I've been a patient at this practice but, during this time, I've seen Dr. Hammer (A+), Stacey Bauer (A+) and Dr. Avery (A+). After today, I doubt that I'll ever go back.

if you call to make an appointment, you can easily be on hold20-30 minutes. Dont know if I have ever seen an actual doctor. Went to one PA,who was super rude and rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a refill on my meds. I thought I waould give it one more try. I said I wanted a nice PA this time, and I got one-Vanessa Cox. She listens to me and truely cares. I have to remind her sometimes about my giving me enough refills and quantity.
Pros: PA vanessa cox, making payments online, parking
Cons: waiting on the phone, getting someone to return a call, getting a hold of a nurse

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the doctors, only to be mortified by the care of the office staff. I have to get labs done frequently. I have always had to call THEM for the results after going weeks without hearing from them, and leave countless messages before I can have my calls returned after a couple of days. If your health is important to you, do not go there becauses it is obviously not important to them.
Pros: Nice doctors, plenty of parking, nice people in the lab
Cons: Horrible response time, snippy office staff

This is the worst "Doctor's" office I have visited. Very rude front desk, It looks like a training ground for PAs, have not seen a doctor in the 3 years I have been going there. I fired them today, and finding a new doctor. I called the nurse line which tells you to wait for 24-48 hours for a response. Isn't that crazy? Yes, I will just wait until the flu my 2 kids have is passed on to me, rather than my doctor perscribing me Tamiflu. Which in this case has now happened twice. Accent Urgent Care down the street can see you faster, are nicer, just as expensive and at least you see a doctor!!!! The 48 hour line is true, they call you 48 hours after you leave a message. Insanity!!!!! There are too many doctors out there to deal with that.

I started going to this practice because it was close to work. Hmmm...I should have driven a little farther. I went in with chronic stomach pains. Each time I saw a PA, and all she wanted to do was give me pain meds. After spending a ridiculous amount of money on meds and tests that I didn't need, I ended up in the hospital, with Gallstones! A simple ultrasound done in the ER showed that......I went there a year, and they couldn't find that!!!!!! I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy! It's never a good thing when your doctor says the word "explode".!!!!
Pros: none at all
Cons: all they want to do is prescribe you to death, never can get a dr. and the PA was extrememly rude!

First off, where are all the freakin' doctors?? I have been a patient there for a year, and have been to the office several times, because I have a chronic condition. Not ONCE have I seen a doctor there--for every appointment, I've been seen only by a physician assistant (PA). And the PAs don't know diddly-squat. I would really love to go into detailed examples, but I really don't feel like sharing my medical situation here. But I'm a registered nurse, and I know about 100 times more than the PAs here know.
One example I will share: I went into the office over a month ago and had a urine culture done...they called me TODAY to tell me that bacteria grew and I need to go on antibiotics! HELLO! It's been over a month! I could have developed a kidney infection by now. Except that I happen to know that the bacteria she mentioned is -- let's just say -- normal for a girl. (Any well-read female will know what I'm talking about.) When I asked her about that, and expressed hesitation about going on the antibiotic, she seemed confused as to what I was talking about, and also said "well, we can't MAKE you take it." D*mn right. Thank goodness I know more than they do, because the antibiotic would exacerbate my chronic condition. Idiots.
I'm switching to a new practice this week -- and will be seeing an actual DOCTOR, finally!
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Only see PAs (never an MD) and the PAs don't know anything

Beware. Customer service very poor. Don?t bother calling, you?ll end up waiting at least 30 minutes and then have someone hang up on you or give you attitude. The billing department and nurses are completely incompetent. I understand how this practice is still in business.
Pros: location
Cons: service, billing
