A very nice bar and some good sushi but way overpriced. Good for a drink or two but don't even think about having a birthday party there. You'll leave feeling robbed and hungry. There should list this place as $$$$.
Management there is awful. The taller gentleman acts and behaves like a bouncer/security more than a restaurant manager. Don't bother approaching him for any complaints. The young owner there, Jimmy, is amateur at best and doesn't cater to his customers. Like I said, go there for a drink or two and hope nothing happens.
Pros: decor
Cons: way overpriced, unprofessional management

Just for the fun of it we went to Fuji the other night, with some other friends who suggested we try something new. Well to say the least I was not overly impressed with the very loud atmosphere & cafeteria style setting which caters to the younger 16-25 crowd. The waitress we had was very young inexperienced and inattentive to the point we had to keep hailing her to come over. Although the food was good it was average fresh sushi. The seaweed salad is disappointing you think you're getting a good size portion to share with another but the trick is iceberg lettuce piled at the bottom of the bowl. Okay food presentation. No vegetable tempura and no fried ice-cream in the winter
I would not go back a second time and I would only recommend this restaurant for the 16-25 crowd.
Pros: sushi, food presentation, better for take out
Cons: Loud atsmophere 16-25 age crowd, inexperienced young wait staff

This Sushi is very fresh, inexpensive and delicious. Chic environment, kinda feels like your in a NYC bar, quite contemporary. Service is excellent and prompt. There is a large TV so watching games is easy, in a great location in the heart of Quincy Center. I have never drank there so I don't know how the cocktails are but if you like Sushi, this is a great place. Good Appitizers are Sumai, Gyoza and the is this Salmon Wonton Appitizer that is delicious if you like spicy salmon.
Pros: Great location, easy to find
Cons: None

I will always go to Fuji for sushi. I've always had great food there and have no complaints on that end..however, the last time I was there I had to send my drink back three times becuse there was something wrong with the soda. The waitress was nice enough but I could see the bartender making faces, waiving her hands in the air and talking about me! Not so much fun being made fun of...all I wanted was a drink that tasted good!
Pros: Great sushi! Can't be beat in the area
Cons: Service can be a bit off at times

I have been there a couple of times and food is ok/not bad, but a bit expensive for the price. The all-young-girls waitresses have no class and service differ by individuals. What we really did not like was the owner J.L was yelling at stuff for whatever mistakes, and it totally ruined our date. He created a disgusting atmosphere and left the place with rage!! It was very unnecessary and he should have thought about our presence (the customers), and we actually felt really bad for the workers. He came up to us once or twice and seemed to be pretty friendly, but now that we know his other side of the face I cannot recommand the restaurant to any of my friends!

While Fuji is a nice location and decor is new and shiny, the staff's service and attitude is not only almost always rude and inconsiderate. Probably because they are all very young girls, it's a young staff, may be cheaper. The amount of the food seems never to be consistent. The price is not the cheapest but unless the management trains better staff, why pay for something that you may feel frustrated about afterwards.
Pros: pretty fresh sushi
Cons: always bad service, portion inconsistant, BAD SERVICES

Has a great sashimi lunch special and the chef's choice includes only the good stuff. I've been here several times and this is always the case. The cuts aren't huge but they are decently sized and its a good deal.
Service is ok. The wait staff is pretty friendly.
I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in Quincy. It's better than most of the places in Boston. In my experience, it rates second only to Yama in NY...

A trendy spot, aimed towards the younger generation. Nothing really unique to offer besides the nice atmosphere (dim lighting and multiple plasma tvs). The sushi was pretty good, reasonably priced. The sushi chefs were suprisingly young, but this did not seem to really compromise the quality of the food. However, our server seemed to have ADHD. She ranged from overly attentive to completely ignoring us, and ended up bringing our dessert before our sushi. Overall, an ok experience, but will not go back.
Pros: nice atmosphere
Cons: bad service
