I enjoy Italian food and have eaten at great Italian restaurants from New York to San Francisco. Ottavio?s is terrific, better than some highly-recommended places in much larger cities. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food has always been great. My wife and I have eaten there 15-20 times and neither of us has ever had anything but an excellent meal.
If you don?t want to hear Happy Birthday in Italian, don?t let it slip that it is your birthday. The restaurant has an accordion player and often has vocal performance majors from BYU singing opera selections on the weekends.
Cons: Reservations are a good idea on weekends.

I've been a big fan of Cafe Rio since it first opened.
Well in the past week I've had two bad experiences in a row at two different stores. First they added cheese on top when I told them no enchilada style. It seems like for the past year or two they try really hard to ignore your words in an attempt to get an extra dollar out of your pocket. Its really apparent that the employees are trained to push for that extra dollar. Well after telling them no they went to the next possible dollar and put cheese on top without asking. I got my burrito with a bunch of half melted cheese covering thick on top. I took it back after I sat down and looked at the receipt. I've had to tell the cashier multiple times that I didn't request the enchilada style.
Last night I stopped at the original provo location. The worker scooped up the last of the black beens out of a pool of water (has happened before too). He didn't take the time to let the beans drain and by the time they put the meat and sauce on it the thing had a big pool of water. I told them I wanted another burrito but that they could use the same meat since I don't like to see food wasted. I got the answer that sums up the difference between the Cafe Rio of a few years ago and the one today. We don't care We don't care if we don't drain the beens, if we try and scam a buck off you, we just don't care anymore. It was such a great place to eat, one of my favorites until quality and atmosphere sank.

The food here is fantastic, and there is a TON of it. The environment is pretty nice, if not a little packed in. Salad bar is fantastic, and the meant just keeps coming. Not for the faint of heart, or vegetarians.

It's a smaller family-owned restaurant. The first time I went was on a date in college and I've gone back at least a few times a year ever since. The food and service are great, especially since the owner, kitchen staff, and even a few of the waiters are actually part of the original family. Sometimes I have seen them a bit shorthanded, especially on weekends, and you may have to wait five minutes to get a refill or a spoon for your spaghetti as the waiter makes his rounds through seven other tables. Lunch usually costs me $7-9. The ragu sauce is terrific and comes on most of the menu items. Most of the desserts are not homemade, to my disappointment, but I usually don't even have space in my stomach since everything comes with complementary salad and bread. La Dolce Vita is a great choice for an excellent lunch.
Pros: Great food, relatively inexpensive, normally good service
Cons: Very limited parking - use the big public garage by Wells Fargo

This is by far the best Indian food I've ever had. Whenever I travel I always try to eat some Indian food. From Mongolia to Europe to the East coast, this place beats them all.
My fiance went for the first time. She's allergic to ginger, which, turns out, is in every Indian dish. Daniel offered to cook up a dish just for her without it and it was absolutely amazing. They really do everything they can to make it a pleasant experience. Now we just call ahead before going so Daniel can make another wonderful dish for us. Truly the best there is.
Pros: Food, service, food, ambience, food, food, food!
Cons: Is pricey compared to other places, but well worth it to me.

Love it!!! I could eat at Los Hermanos every day! The salsa is my favorite. I also love the fajitas, Halibut tacos and Specialty drinks. They have an amazing soup that has halibut, chicken and shrimp in a really flavorfull tomato based soup. My favorite part is the fresh avacados on top! I hate fake plants so the fact that there are hundreds of gorgeous, real plants makes the atmosphere really cool. I had my bridal shower there and they are very good with big groups
Pros: great ambience, food and specialty drinks
Cons: none! parking is easy in the parking garages

I wouldn't call my self a sushi expert, but i do think i am an expert on what tastes good. I love this place, and going is always a big event for me. I think the food tastes great, and weather it is the freshest or not i couldn't say, but it IS fresh and delicious. This place is located in Utah so you cant expect the fish to be right out of the water fresh, but it is the freshest i have found here. Concerning the customer service, i have gone when service has been lightning fast and I've gone when it has taken a while to get my food, but every time they have been friendly and courtious. I think that this place is great for large groups or couples, and if everyone orders the unlimited sushi things get served family style which is really fun. I would suggest going to this place as an activity itself or as the end to an activity because you don't want to feel rushed. The atmosphere is best for those who want to kick back and have a good time eating and talking with freinds.
Pros: Great tasting food, good atmosphere, great price
Cons: Unpredictible dinning time
