Initially they will talk very sweet so that you confirm them. But once they get the order and money, they'll just forget you. We ordered naan bread, biriyani, a chicken entrée and a veg entrée (as we had few vegetarian friends) for around 20 persons from Bombay Club for a lunch party.
Firstly the 'parking lot' where they asked me to park my car belongs to a condominium next to them. If this place does not belong to you then why ask customers to park their cars there?
The guy from Bombay club gave me a reasonable price for the items I wanted to order. When I called them to get the status of the order a day before they denied giving me that price and told that I might have to pay more. He agreed with the price when I told him that I recorded the previous conversation.
During ordering, they assured me that their food is very fresh would be fine if I keep them outside freeze for a night. Now when I went to pickup the order, the same guy told me that food might get spoiled if I keep them overnight at room temperature! It was late at night so I had to buy 2 small coolants and ice from a nearby convenient store at a double price. Had he told me before I would have shifted little stuff to my neighbor's refrigerator.
They labeled each container so that I could recognize the content without removing the aluminum foil. Next day when we opened the containers to put them in the oven, 30 min before lunch, we found that instead of the veg entrée they have packed some chicken item (through they labeled that as veg entrée). So we finally ended up with 2 chicken entrées and had nothing for the vegetarian friends!! Now that was a mistake from their side. A descent restaurant would apologize and deliver the correct item or offer refund for the wrong food. Instead they advised me to be happy with the wrong item and told me they are busy and they’d give me a call back. He never called!
The food was just about sufficient (though we brought something else on top of that for the veg guys)
