Dr. Romano is a highly respected dentist in Providence, and often appears in the RI Monthly and other lists of the top dentists in the state. I was a patient of his for a few years, and felt that his dentistry was state-of-the-art, but his management of my dental problems was lacking. He did not communicate with me adequately about the timing and sequence of the work that needed to be done, so that a few times I found myself facing unanticipated work that had to be scheduled in the short term. He does have good interpersonal skills, his hygenists have all been a pleasure to see, his office staff is polite, and I do believe that he is highly competent technically. If I were to have a complicated dental problem I would not hesitate to consult him.
