Terrible experience. Bought an expensive item and it was delivered incomplete. Over two months later the missing item was not in and we were informed that they would not refund the purchase even though Go For Baroque did not live up to their agreement. Now we were told that it was going to take almost four months to get the missing item. No excuses, no apologies were given. I suspect they must be in financial trouble, I cannot imagine a merchant in a small town not being customer focused. Do not buy anything at Go For Baroque in Princeton. Marilyn Stevens is the owner, she has been unresponsive, untruthful and unethical. Go For Baroque does not deliver "best merchant practices" towards customer satisfaction.

I love to browse in this store. There are always new things - mostly made by local craftspeople. I never bring my young son with me because so many fragile things are on display for sale. The types of items carried are ceramics, paper, silver, mobiles, handmade clothes, etc. I often find gifts and cards for interesting people when I shop here.

sometimes i would go into this store and be amazed at the high quality of the local artists that make the home decor and jewelry that this place sells - but other times, the selection would be rife with banal and repetitive work. i'm not sure whether it's because of how the owners stock the store, or whether it's that artists tend to migrate in and out of the area, but either way it's hard to either recommend or not recommend this place to others. i guess the best i can say is that it's a small store, right in the middle of the town, so it's worth a trip if you're looking for something unusual to give to someone.
