This is a smaller version of some of the huge water parks. It's small enough that your kids will enjoy it, but you won't worry about where they are. It's just outside of Powder Springs in Cobb County. You can even bring your family reunions or youth groups and reserve the pavilion.

I canceled the venue I was getting married at because they were doing me wrong. The problem was,this venue was providing all the flowers, centerpieces and linens for my wedding and reception and my new venue did not provide anything!What was I going to do?I only had 2 1/2 weeks to plan a wedding!I called several places around Atlanta and was told NO...some even laughed at me! Then I called Powder Springs Florist expecting to hear another NO and instead, they listened and helped me plan a beautiful wedding!

Fifth Avenue Cleaners has been established in the area for many years. They are an expensive cleaners, but periodically have specials which last for quite awhile. If you have your items to them by 8:30 a.m., they will have they ready after 5:00 p.m. that same day. Friendly store and does a good job on cleaning - hard on buttons, though.

My daughter and I both get our hair cut here. I don't like to pay a lot of money to get my hair cut but I want someone who will do a good job. That's exactly what I get here. I pay $17 for a shampoo, cut, and style and $10 for my daughter's haircuts.
They do take walk-ins but I always make an appointment so I can see the stylist I prefer without having to wait.

La Parrilla is great for lunch or dinner. They have a fantastic Guacamole Salad (dip) that is one of the best in the Atlanta area. The queso blanco dip is very good too (especially with jalapeños, they are diced so they are very small and provide just the right amount of kick). They offer a wide range of menu options at mid-level prices. The food is mostly authentic with a blend of Tex-Mex. In the vein of "supersized" food, there is a Monster Taco that is aptly named.
I would recommend for the entire family. They often have live music by local artists on Friday and Saturday nights. Go early though, La Parrilla isn't a well kept secret so it gets crowded pretty quickly.
