The best Prime Filet Mignon with shiitake and brandy and lightly breaded and pan-fried Dabob Bay Oysters in the Seattle area is found in a big hidden red barn disguised as "The Yarn Barn," in big letters on one side, in a big Viking niche called Briedabliek, on a secluded Big Valley Road in Poulsbo, 45 minutes from the Bainbridge ferry, less from the Kingston ferry. Dark sign on the road says Sam and Lynn want to remain anonymous! Bon apetit!
Pros: Absolutely delicious, Veggies grown there, Fresh NW cuisine
Cons: Secluded, Rich food, Possessive locals

Ok...I will say more. This is a shop that is fortunately for me (unfortunately for my waist line) just a short walk from where I live. Nestled downtown in the heart of Poulsbo, is this little "chocolate factory". A true gem to your palate, you couldn't ask for better (or more!) chocolates. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate......CHOCOLATE!!! This is the place to go if you've a chocolate craving, or want the perfect gift for someone special. Oh, and did I mention the staff is friendly too?

Great service. We had a delay of a few weeks between coats due to horrid WA weather, and contact was easy to maintain. Our house looks great. Very easy to work with, and they answered all of our silly questions throughout the process. I'd definitely call again.

This was one of the best weeks that I have ever spent on vacation. The location is amazing as it is approximately 45 minutes from Seattle (where I live) but a whole world apart at the same time. My girl friend and I were able to escape for the perfect relaxing week that we needed. Poulsbo is a small quiet town, but its unique charm derived from its Scandinavian heritage and the beauty of the water makes it a great place for a summer staycation. Finally the best part of the trip were the incredibly warm and welcoming Inn Keepers. They truly made our trip so incredible. Their warm welcoming manner and attending to our every need was greatly apperciated.
