I'm usually not the type of person to write a review but after the experience I had, I felt compelled to write one for this restaurant. The experience was bad from start to finish. Upon entering the restaurant, we were ignored not by one or two employees but three employees (One of them who happened to be a manager). After 5 mins. of standing at the doorway we were finally led to our table. It had grease smudges all over, not to mention the crumbs on the table, chair, and floor. The menu was obviously dirty with the previous customer's finger smudges and left over food. The food was expensive and bland. However, eating was the hard part as I was forced to spend most of my lunch chasing flies from getting into my food. The waitress was very rude. I hate this place; I will never eat at this restaurant again. Pros: None Cons: Service, Food, Price,and Insects

The wait to get a table was ridiculous. Then our waitress sat us and forgot to give us bread sticks and water. I asked for them and she gave us the worst attitude, like I was asking her to do me a personal favor. Then our food came after a long wait and the waitress gave us our check. Then her group of friends came in and she ignored our table for half an hour. We were clearly ready to go, the bill was at the end of the table with the card sticking out, our plates were empty, and we wanted to get out of there. After about 10 more minutes I went up to the counter and asked if someone, anyone could run my bill so that we could leave. It took three people behind the counter and then our waitress comes up and slams down my card with a pen. Needless to say, she did not receive a tip, and I'm normally a good tipper. That wasn't the first time that I've had bad service, the entire staff is rude and not welcoming and the prices are ridiculous.

The gravel lot doesn't say much about what you'll find inside. The restaurant is has a nice ambiance, and wonderful food. If the wait is long, than that is an indication of how much people enjoy the experience within, and as for unfriendly service,I've never experienced it there, and if there was a long wait, just think of how over worked the employees could have been at a time. I love the pizza from this place. Go to Chicago, New Haven, or anywhere else, and you'll still probably be more than happy to come back and enjoy some more of Campana's wonderful food. Look at the menu when you arrive. How many places put the owner's number on the menu and invite you to contact them directly? It's a fantastic place to eat.
