All their sales people should take classes on customer service. They were very RUDE! I was there this past weekend and just because I touched a dress(wanted to feel the fabric) this woman approches me and says ""please don't touch our dresses they are very expensive and delicate."" Then she says ""come with me wash your hands just to make sure you don't dirty the dresses.""I was really in shock and said you know what I will take my money elsewhere.

Town Shop Bridal knows wedding attire. I went to Town Shop while in NY visiting family. They fit me in last minute and helped me find the perfect wedding dress. I wasn't exactly sure what style I wanted, so they helped me pick all different styles to try on. Once I narrowed it down they were so professional, careful, and attentive in helping me find the one. Due to my short engagement, I was pushing it by choosing a dress so late. Town Shop told me I would probably get the dress (in North Carolina) by mid-December, but I got it early (weeks early)!! Tried it on again and they were so careful about picking a size for me that I don't have to do any major alterations. I could not be happier! Town Shop did a wonderful job!

Great service, great prices! LOVED The Town Shop. I went to the town shop to get my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding. They didn't have the dress in stock so they took my measurements and ordered it for me. I wasn't sure which color belt I wanted so they ordered me TWO different color belts to choose from. They had the dress shipped to me because I live out of town, fast delivery and great product. The staff was wonderful, they really made me feel comfortable. Highly recommended.

Well, I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased my daughter's prom dress at the Town Shop. I just had the most awful experience there and I am still seething. I will NEVER shop there again and I urge EVERYONE out there to do the same. The owner is an ***hole and I can't believe he has been in business as long as he has. We went there three weeks ago for the fitting. They told me to come back today and that the dress would be steamed and ready to go. We get there and I immediately see that the dress was wrinkled. An extremely rude woman (short, older, heavy weight, short hair) said it looked fine (but it clearly did not) but agreed to press it. I said okay and we waited for 15 minutes. The dress still clearly had wrinkles in it, so she said she would press it again. I spent nearly $400 on it (plus another $65 for the shoes), so I think it should have looked perfect. She comes back and it still didn't look great and I noticed there was a pull on the fabric on the back. When I pointed this out, she said it wasn't there and got really nasty. Then the owner (I will assume this was Gary- tall, older bald man) comes out and became quite verbally abusive to me and my daughter. He yelled at us and embarrassed us in front of the whole store. If I could bring him up on charges I would. He made her cry (which is really a nice thing to do to a sweet 18 year old looking forward to going to her senior prom) and we just left the store. Unfortunately, this jerk will continue to behave like a psycho because he can. I am sure if his crusty old store was located out of such a bum**** place and he actually had real competition, he would go out of business right away.

I went to the town shop to look at bridesmaids dresses and came across one wedding gown that i LOVED! My mom and I were talking to one of the employees who was pretty friendly and asked us if we needed help. I wanted to try on a dress but she said it was kind of early to start doing that since my wedding isnt for a while and I was OK with that. We got talking about bridesmaids and wedding colors and I forgot to ask who the designer of the dress that i saw in the window was made by before we left. I then wanted to show my friend the dress online but since i didnt know the designer i called the Town Shop and asked if they could tell me which designer made the dress in the window. She told me I had to come into the store to get that information because they did not like to tell people stuff over the phone. I wasnt even asking for the price i was just asking for the name of the designer. I told her i had just been there yesterday and that my wedding isnt for a while and i had no need to come back just yet and she still did not tell me who made the dress because I had to come in first. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional. A customer is interested in something in your store and you are not willing to go the extra mile and tell them about the product? Even if i went into the store tomorrow i still am not ready to buy my dress so i dont get what the big deal was it just did not make sense at all. oh well i guess i wont be going back there ever again...

Don't get me wrong this store has a huge selection of dresses and they're all really beautiful, but the employees are very rude. Within fifteen seconds of walking into the store a lady said ""Only try on dresses you really like because our dresses are delicate."" I found a dress I really loved there, but I took my money as well as my friend's money somewhere else and found the dress of my dreams. I will never return to town shop bridal. It could have been $1000 dollar day for them. How unfortunate.

LOVE THE TOWN SHOP! Hello ladies, I recently visited the Town Shop with my mother and sister (after going to too many other stores) and had such a wonderful experience. I called to make an appointment but they told me to walk in - and although they were busy, I was fit right in and was treated so well. I have not seen true customer service like that anywhere around the area! It was great. From the minute I stepped into the store (which has soo many beautiful gowns) I knew I was in the right place. I worked with Debbie who was patient and listened to exactly what I wanted and she helped me find the perfect dress!! I chose a totally different designer (Pronovias) and I am so in love with my dress. Alterations were included in the price which was also huge!! I highly recommend to everyone - a great store with beautiful gowns and really nice people!
